Six AFC Bournemouth loanees featured over the weekend, with Tyler Cordner and Sam Sherring finding game-time for their new clubs.

Harry Arter played the full 90 minutes for Cardiff City, as the Welsh side suffered a 2-1 defeat at home to Burnley on Sunday. Neil Warnock’s newly promoted side went behind to a Johan Berg Gudmundsson strike in the second half, before equalising through Josh Murphy. With 20 minutes to go, a Sam Vokes winner took three points back to Burnley, keeping Cardiff in the bottom three.

Over in the Scottish Premiership, Emerson Hyndman featured in 64 minutes of Hibernian’s 1-0 win over St Mirren. That result lifts Hibernian to second in the league, five points behind leaders Hearts. Elsewhere in Scotland, Mikael Ndjoli was an unused substitute in Kilmarnock’s 3-1 victory over Motherwell.

Connor Mahoney came on in the second-half to play 26 minutes in Birmingham City’s 2-2 draw at home to Ipswich Town. City came from 2-0 down to salvage a point at St. Andrew’s Stadium, lifting them to 16th in the Championship.

Matt Worthington was also used a second-half substitute for Forest Green Rovers, as they managed a 1-1 draw away to Macclesfield Town in League Two. Rovers now find themselves in the play-off places on goal difference.

Recently loaned Tyler Cordner played the full 90 for Havant & Waterlooville in their 1-0 defeat at home to Solihull Moors in the Vanarama National League. The result leaves the Hawks in the relegation zone with 14 games played.

Meanwhile, in the Evo-Stik League Premier South, Weymouth earned a 4-1 win at Staines Town, with Cherries loanee Sam Sherring making his debut for the club. Weymouth came from behind to get a win that keeps them at the top of the league on goal difference.

Sam Surridge, who had scored four goals in his last two league games, missed Oldham Athletic’s 0-0 draw with Swindon Town in League Two through injury. The forward reported on Twitter that it shouldn’t be a long-term concern.

Across the pond in the MLS, Brad Smith didn’t make the Seattle Sounders squad that convincingly beat Colorado 4-0 on Saturday.
