AFC Bournemouth had five Cherries in action over the weekend, as play-offs commenced and league seasons ended.

Here’s a closer look at how those on loan got on…

Lewis Grabban

Grabban started and played 81 minutes of Aston Villa’s play-off semi-final against Middlesbrough at The Riverside, with Mile Jedinak’s goal the difference.

Villa’s 1-0 lead means that they go into the second leg at home on Tuesday as favourites to progress to the final.

Ryan Allsop

Also competing in the play-offs is Allsop, this time for Lincoln City in League Two. The ‘keeper played a full game between the sticks for the Imps, who drew 0-0 with Exeter at home.

The second leg will take place on Thursday at 7.45pm.

Max Gradel

Gradel played another full game for Toulouse, as there Ligue 1 season creeps closer to its end. However, a strong Bordeaux outfit couldn’t be beaten, with the Ivorian and his side losing out 4-2.

Baily Cargill

A 1-0 win for Partick Thistle at Dundee ensured they avoided automatic relegation from the SPL.

Cargill played 90 minutes for the side, who will now play in a two-legged play-off final duel with Livingston from the Scottish Championship to decide who will play in the top flight next season.

Joe Quigley

Quigley made his maiden appearance at Wembley Stadium on the weekend, as Boreham Wood took on Tranmere for a place in the Football League.

Despite having ten men from the first minute, Tranmere emerged 2-1 victors, with Quigley playing the final 20 minutes for the Wood.
