It was a big day for Nnamdi Ofoborh who made his debut for Wycombe Wanderers against Lincoln City.

The centre-midfielder replaced the injured Wanderers skipper Matt Bloomfield just before the hour mark to make his Football League bow at the age of 19.

He put in an industrious display which saw the Chairboys climb to the top of League One, their highest position ever in their 132-year history.

Kyle Taylor also played in the Football League, making his second EFL appearance as Forest Green Rovers were 1-0 winners over Cambridge United.

Taylor played 74 minutes of the game which sees Rovers move up to fifth in the table.

Frank Vincent got the full 90 minutes as Torquay United also secured an impressive victory, a 4-2 win over Harrogate Town.

Vincent has proven his versatility in recent weeks by being used as a full-back as well as a central midfielder, and the youngster played behind the striker in the weekend win.

Shaun Hobson was also on the winning side, as Weymouth earned a hard-fought victory over Welling United.

That was Hobson’s second game under boss Mark Molseley as the Terras move up to seventh place in the Vanarama National League South.

Playing alongside Hobson was Calum Ward, who kept another clean sheet in goal for Weymouth and has earnt his position as Molesley’s number one.

Also in the Vanarama National League South, Tyler Cordner played 90 minutes for Ebbsfleet, putting in a mature performance in their 1-1 draw against Eastleigh.

The defender came up against former Cherries Joe Partington and Danny Hollands in the draw at the Kuflink Stadium.

The Cherries connections continued as Charlie Seaman was also on the opposite side to Cordner, with the full-back playing his second game for Eastleigh.

Seaman showed his athleticism throughout the game and created several problems for the home defence.

Elsewhere, Mikael Ndjoli featured in the final ten minutes of Gillingham’s 2-2 draw at Tranmere Rovers, while Jake Cope played the final 23 minutes of Poole Town's 1-0 Emirates FA Cup First Qualifying Round victory over Didcot FC.
