Loan watch: Cordner impresses again

AFC Bournemouth's loan contingent continued their temporary spells away from the club last weekend.

Here's a round up of how the loan players got on this weekend...

TYLER CORDNER

Defender Cordner enjoyed another good outing for Havant and Waterlooville at the weekend.

Under the management of Paul Bradbury, Cordner was part of the side that kept a solid clean sheet against Chesterfield Town.

Another good showing at the Proact Stadium means the youngster has now played in Havant's last nine games.

SAM SHERRING

Defender Sherring played 90 minutes for Weymouth as they were defeated 2-1 by Kings Langley away from home.

The result means that they are now third in the Evo-Stik League Premier South, two points off top with a game in hand.

Ryan Glover - on a work experience loan from the under-18s - was not involved in the squad.

Surridge played the final 20 minutes as Oldham Athletic were 3-1 winners over Cambridge United.

The striker had been injured and hadn't played since early October, but returned and will be hoping to add to the nine strikes he's accumulated this season for the Latics.

MIKAEL NDJOLI

There were no competitive SPL games, but Ndjoli played a part in a special day for Kris Boyd.

He played in Boyd's testimonial against some of Boyd's old Rangers team mates, in a game that finished 6-3.

JAKE SCRIMSHAW

After his six-goal haul for Poole Town, Scrimshaw was originally on the bench for the game against Walton Casuals but was handed a start following an injury in the warm up.

Scrimshaw won a penalty in the 4-0 win and played 78 minutes away from home.

Elsewhere, Matt Worthington was an unused sub by Forest Green Rovers as they lost 1-0 to Morecambe.

The club's loan watch series is sponsored by Westover Group.
