Brooklyn Genesini continued his impressive form in front of goal by netting a dramatic late equaliser for loan club Næstved Boldklub on Sunday.

His finely-taken effort in the first minute of added time earned the hosts a 1-1 draw with HB Koge at Næstved’s Tintshop Park headquarters.

Genesini latched on to a pass from a teammate before firing a low drive into the bottom corner and past the despairing dive of Koge goalkeeper Oskar Snorre.

The 20-year-old, on as a 79th-minute replacement for Mads Aggar, capped his fifth appearance for the Danish club with his first goal.

Earlier, Yousef Salech had opened the scoring for the visitors in the 28th minute with Koge having Nemanja Cavnic sent off for picking up a second booking after Genesini had levelled.

Genesini will be hoping to again feature when Næstved Boldklub, currently fourth in the Danish second flight, visit second-placed Hvidovre on Friday.

A member of the development squad at Vitality Stadium, Genesini netted another dramatic late leveller during the Cherries’ 2-2 draw at Norwich in the Carabao Cup in August.

His heroics helped them force a penalty shootout at Carrow Road, the Cherries prevailing on spot-kicks to set up a third-round clash with Everton next month.
