AFC Bournemouth defender Ben Greenwood has joined National League outfit Weymouth on a month’s loan.
Greenwood is a member of the development squad at Vitality Stadium and started all six of the club’s Premier League Cup games this season.
The 19-year-old, who is in his first season as a professional, will link up with the Terras ahead of their trip to Torquay United on Saturday.
Cherries’ non-league neighbours are currently nine points adrift of safety in the National League with ten games remaining.
Greenwood trains regularly with Scott Parker’s first-team squad and attended the club’s pre-season training camp in Marbella last summer.
He also came off the bench as a second-half substitute in the Cherries’ pre-season friendly against Champions League winners Chelsea.
Greenwood joined the Cherries at the end of 2018/19 having started the season turning out for Fleet Spurs in Division One of the Combined Counties League.
