AFC Bournemouth AFC Bournemouth

AFC Bournemouth's Official FPL league is continuing to hot up, with a couple of players earning noticeably high scores this weekend.

It was a good week for a lot of managers, with the average score of 52 the highest since Gameweek 2.

But who impressed in the club's mini league and beyond? All the facts and figures are in the Fantasy round up of Gameweek 6.

TOP SCORER

It was an excellent week for Ali Ahmed and his team El lol Team 1 - he almost doubled the average score and was close to touching a century with his selection at the weekend.

A solid captain choice helped Ali with Jamie Vardy scoring 22 points, while Petr Cech, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Bernardo Silva all scored double figures.

Elsewhere in the league, the hunt for monthly prizes continues as Chimsimdi Duru tops the league for September with 237 points for the month, but close competition comes from Ntfuni Ishmael, Mesut Mallick and Mohamed Mansour, with one point separating the top four.

POINTS SCORERS

Well, Ali's captain pick was Jamie Vardy who scored 11 points at the weekend, and with Leicester's upcoming games - Newcastle (A), Everton (H) - it could be a good time to put the frontman into your sides, along with creative midfielder James Maddison.

One other player who caught the eye was Bernardo Silva, who scored 14 points, his highest return of the season.

His goal and assist at Cardiff City haven't been the only reason why managers have flocked to the midfielder, with Pep Guardiola constantly praising his Portuguese maestro in the press. It's a good way to get into the Manchester City attack for just £7.5m.

CHERRIES LOOKING AHEAD

Despite the result at the weekend, managers shouldn't be put off by Cherries players for the gameweeks ahead.

Our next four games are Palace (H), Watford (A), Southampton (H), Fulham (A), which look quite good according to the FPL fixture difficulty rankings.

David Brooks looked lively at Burnley, and we all know about Ryan Fraser's popularity, still an FPL steal at £5.8m - Fraser has been involved (goal or assist) in half of our Premier League goals this season.

Junior Stanislas returned to Premier League action at Turf Moor as well, he'll be one to monitor particularly after our Carabao Cup tie with Blackburn Rovers on Tuesday night.
