Joshua King wins the May Player of the Month award

Joshua King celebrates by putting three fingers in the air to celebrate his hat-trick against West Ham United.

Joshua King has been voted the Michael Matthews Player of the Month for May.

The Norwegian striker fought off competition from Junior Stanislas, Lewis Cook and Adam Smith to win the award.

King scored the winner against Burnley in the final month of the season, while also making an important contribution for the leveller against Stoke City. 

In our Twitter poll, King received 55% of the votes, with Cook (20%) just ahead of Stanislas (18%) in second and third places.
