Join new Supporter Experience Working Group

AFC Bournemouth are creating a Supporter Experience Working Group for the 2021/22 season.

Created to develop and expand the relationship between club and fans, the group will look at all areas of supporter engagement, not only on matchdays.

The group of 12 fan and senior management club representatives will exchange ideas on how we can work together to improve, giving fans direct input to influence their club’s service delivery across all supporter touchpoints.

Meeting three times a season, the group will be selected from a cross-section of supporters to give as diverse and balanced a representation as possible, while the club will be represented by chief executive Neill Blake, chairman Jeff Mostyn and operations director and supporter liaison officer Liz Finney at each meeting, along with other heads of departments from ticketing, commercial, media and communications, equality, catering, finance and the club’s Community Sports Trust as required or requested.

The first meeting is planned for 6pm on Tuesday 22nd June at Vitality Stadium and you can apply to be part of this group by completing this form before 12pm on Friday 4th June.

Applicants are being sought from each stand, both season ticket holders and Cherries Points holders, with representation for young, disabled, minority group and long distance supporters as well as those who travel to away games. The group will also include a paid member of Cherries Trust.

AFC Bournemouth operations director, Liz Finney, said: “Our experience of previous supporter groups, such as the equality focus group, has shown that the club and its fans can produce positive, tangible improvements together.

“We are very much looking forward to working with this group of supporters over the coming year.”
