AFC Bournemouth are pleased to announce the appointment of Jim Frevola as the club’s first President of Business.
Arriving from the National Hockey League's Tampa Bay Lightning where he served as Chief Commercial Officer, Jim assumes responsibility for the business operations units of the club.
Jim will be responsible for driving all revenues within the club, expanding the club's community presence and fan base locally and regionally, and helping increase the globalisation of the AFC Bournemouth brand around the world.
Jim draws on great experience gained throughout a varied and extensive career in sport, which included more than five years with the Vegas Golden Knights as Senior Vice President and Chief Sales Officer. In this role, Jim was responsible for developing and maintaining all relationships with the team’s partners when they launched as the NHL’s 31st team in 2017. Under Jim's guidance, the Golden Knights ranked in the Top Five in team revenue despite being the 40th largest US Market.

Previously, Jim has worked for the Miami Dolphins and Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the NFL, as well as MLB side Florida Marlins. He also enjoyed success in growing revenues 350% over a three year period for the UFC, when serving as the organisation’s Vice President of North American Marketing Partnerships.

Jim starts his new role with the club immediately and will be relocating to the south coast in the new year.
