Ryan Fraser yet again played a key role for the Scotland national team during a thrilling 3-2 UEFA Nations League game against Israel at Hampden Park.

The Cherries wide man, who had netted in a game against Albania at the weekend, laid on James Forrest’s hat-trick goal.

The result saw Scotland clinch a Euro 2020 play-off place and Nations League promotion.

Fraser’s impressive start to the 2018/19 season continued, with the winger having now been directly involved in 15 goals in 17 appearances for club and country.

Elsewhere, David Brooks played 60 minutes for Wales during their disappointing friendly defeat against Albania Elbasan.

At under-21 level, there was an England debut for Cherries defender Jack Simpson, who played the full 90 minutes of a 5-1 friendly win against Denmark.

He started the game alongside fellow AFC Bournemouth team-mate Lewis Cook, who was withdrawn and replaced by Tom Davies on 71 minutes.
