Three of AFC Bournemouth’s players were in international action over the course of Thursday’s fixtures.

David Brooks played the full 90 minutes for Wales in their impressive 4-1 UEFA Nations League victory over Republic of Ireland at the Cardiff City Stadium.

Joshua King was also in UEFA Nations League action for Norway, who also got their campaign off to a winning start with a 2-0 triumph over Cyprus at Ullevaal Stadion in Oslo.

King started the game and was eventually substituted and replaced by Tarik Elyounoussi in the 90th minute.

Nathan Ake was an unused substitute for the Netherlands, as they were 2-1 winners over Peru in Amsterdam. The game was the final Oranje appearance for Wesley Sneijder, who called time on his international career as Holland’s record appearance holder.

At under-21 level, Lewis Cook played the full game for England, as they drew 0-0 with the Netherlands in a UEFA Championship qualifier at Carrow Road.
