Head of Sports Science Dan Hodges has left AFC Bournemouth after spending more than nine years at Vitality Stadium.

Hodges has reunited with former Cherries manager Eddie Howe who was this week appointed head coach at Newcastle United.

After working in sports science at Rochdale and Manchester City, Hodges moved to Vitality Stadium in June 2012.

He first linked up with Howe in October 2012 and was on the staff as the club won promotion to the Championship and then the Premier League.

AFC Bournemouth would like to thank Dan for his hard work and wishes him all the best in his new role with Newcastle United.
