Gallery: Howe's Cherries History

AFC Bournemouth AFC Bournemouth

A pictorial guide through Eddie Howe's quarter of a century playing for and then managing AFC Bournemouth.

Howe thrust himself onto the scene as an 18-year-old, making his debut in a 2-0 home win over Hull City in December 1995.

Following retirement at 29 and the move into coaching, Howe returned as manager in early 2009, leading the club to their improbable Greatest Escape.

This lit the touch paper for the most remarkable decade in the Cherries' history, culminating in five years in the Premier League.
