AFC Bournemouth AFC Bournemouth

It’s been an excellent week for Fantasy Premier League users in the AFC Bournemouth fan league, as the Cherries pulled off a last minute win at Newcastle.

Steve Cook’s header came in added time at the end of the second half to give Eddie Howe’s side their second league victory on the road this season.

John Phillips tops the AFC Bournemouth fan league despite only picking up 45 points this week, just one higher than the average score.

Mohammed Salah’s two goals, alongside assists from Aaron Ramsey and Raheem Sterling, set his side up well for a good finish to gameweek eleven.

Hot on John’s heels is Fabio Borges, who sits just eight points behind him on 691. Again, it was Salah the key man for “Clichys Cleansheets”, who opted for a back five over the weekend.

Oliver Nelson was the top gameweek points scorer in the AFC Bournemouth fan league, despite sitting in 489th position. He accumulated 95 points, thanks to Jonas Lossl’s clean sheet and Cesar Azpilicueta’s assist from defence.

Additionally, Salah as captain saw a further 30 points added to Oliver’s total, whilst Alvaro Morata and Gabriel Jesus both netted up top.

Unsurprisingly, Steve Cook was the Cherries player who scored highest on the weekend, after his goal and clean sheet at St. James’ Park saw him receive 15 points.

And Even Delbekk was the user who recorded the most gameweek points with the Cherries defender in his side. His 110 points were aided by Cook’s 15, Azpilicueta’s 12 and Salah as triple captain gaining 45.

However, out of the Cherries players, Cook sits in fifth place and it’s Jack Simpson on top.

The 20-year-old chose Sergio Aguero as captain, who earned 16 points, whilst Marcos Alonso and Charlie Daniels both gained six apiece for their clean sheets.
