Jermain Defoe has been named in Gareth Southgate’s England squad for the final World Cup qualifiers against Slovenia and Lithuania.
Should the 34-year-old turn out for Southgate’s side, he will be the first player to do so whilst tied to the Cherries.
The Three Lions require just one win from their final two games to qualify for next summer’s tournament in Russia.
