December's Goal of the Month nominees
Two-and-half years into his AFC Bournemouth career but still without a goal to go with his impressive development in red and black, Diego Rico broke his duck with a stunner in the big win at Barnsley.
Addressing the ball wide right with 21 players possibly expecting a centred delivery, the Spaniard instead swifted a curling left-foot effort goalwards, beating the 'keeper before heading off in celebration.
Junior Stanislas, also nominated for the December Player of the Month award, weaves his way into contention after his excellent solo effort in the 5-0 demolition of Huddersfield.
With the ball at his feet and the entire Terriers team in front of him, the winger showed pace and precision to wind his way past midfielders and then defenders before prodding the ball home inside the area in front of the Cherries fans in the Steve Fletcher Stand.

One of a number of contenders from the same match, Nathan Moriah-Welsh's dipping long ranger gets the nod from the under-21s' 4-1 friendly win over Luton Town ten days before Christmas.
Picking up the ball midway into the opposition half, the midfielder takes two touches to manouvre into range before striking a stunning strike that moved and dipped before finding the top corner.
Under-18s stopper Josh Clarke becomes the first ever Cherries goalkeeper to join the Goal of the Month contenders for his effort at an unusual end of the pitch for him.
Pressed into action as an auxiliary striker late onย due to injuries, Clarke cushioned a long pass before reaching to volley past his Millwall counterpart and extend the Cherries' two-year unbeaten record at Canford Arena.
