December Cherries Community Fund donations made

The Cherries Community Fund has recently donated £13,777 to local causes with the latest batch of donations.

The following donations have been awarded to local causes in the area:

£2,224 to The CRUMBS Project towards fulfilling their goal of skills training for disadvantaged adults.

£1,250 to Carvers Club House towards fulfilling their goal of purchasing soft play equipment at a local recreation centre.

£2,500 to Lytchett Minster School towards purchasing the kit to build and race a fully electric Greenpower 24 cart for their Greenpower Formula 24 School STEM Project.

£1,668 to Bournemouth Recycle towards six heavy usage bundles from Terracycle with the aim of helping the local community to responsibly dispose of hard-to-recycle items.

£2,500 to The Good Grief Trust towards assisting them in fulfilling their goal of supplying good grief condolence and signposting cards to NHS Hospital Trusts, GP practices and community health services across Dorset.

£1,135 to AIM Community’s TranquilOT – Health and Wellbeing project, assisting them in fulfilling their goal of purchasing vital resources for the sensory room, and gym equipment for 1:1/small group work.

£2,500 to Bournemouth Foodbank towards assisting them in providing bundles of essential items, such as maternity accessories, warm clothing, equipment and food to new parents and families of young children who are unable to afford them.

The total donated from this panel is £13,777, meaning an overall total since the fund started of £235,808 has been given to worthy causes!
