Nigel Martyn, Ronaldo (the Brazilian), Zinedine Zidane, Rio Ferdinand and Guti – what a team!

AFC Bournemouth head coach Jonathan Woodgate was asked to select a five-a-side team of players he played with during his illustrious career.

An enlightening and often humorous question-and-answer with the Cherries gaffer features in a commemorative edition of MATCHDAY which is now available to buy.

The 68-page programme previews the first leg of the Cherries’ Championship play-off semi-final against Brentford which takes place at Vitality Stadium on Monday.

Woodgate fields questions about his playing career which included spells with Leeds, Newcastle, Real Madrid, Middlesbrough, Tottenham and Stoke together with winning eight caps for England.

And he shows his lighter side by revealing – among a host of other things – a curious superstition, why he would never put pineapple on a pizza and which Cherries player he would choose to be his agent.

MATCHDAY also includes a feature with former Cherries star Wade Elliott on the club’s 2003 play-off victory over Lincoln, a detailed look at rivals Brentford and a gallery of submitted pictures of supporters.

The programme is available to buy in person for £3 from the club Superstore or online on the Superstore website - https://superstore.afcb.co.uk/afc-bournemouth/PROGBOUBREP20
