AFC Bournemouth are proud to introduce the club’s first-ever product ambassadors.
The product ambassador programme was set up to give Cherries fans the opportunity to represent their club through our Superstore initiatives.
The group of supporters all proved to be passionate about the club through a video submission and phone interview.
The thought behind the product ambassadors’ concept was to have supporters and people who care passionately about the club on our image-led campaigns to further establish our connection with the community.
The ambassadors are made up from a range of ages and backgrounds and will be working in collaboration with the club for the next two years.
The enthusiastic group will be appearing on all club channels in the future, with head of brand Matt Payne saying: “We’re excited by the opportunity to involve these true AFC Bournemouth fans in our product launches and promotions over the next couple of years.
“During that time, we look forward to turning the camera around and telling some stories about this passionate bunch of supporters and their Cherries history.”
The selection process took three months and saw hundreds of applications from a variety of age groups. An extensive interview process took place until the final 19 were chosen in January and all had the chance to meet each other with an evening at Vitality Stadium.
