Club podcast: Ian Cox - LISTEN NOW

With an international competition just around the corner, former Cherries captain Ian Cox reveals how he nearly missed out on winning his first cap while playing for AFC Bournemouth.

Receiving a first call-up for Trinidad and Tobago, the former defender confirmed how his papers somehow found their way into the bin as his international career had a delayed start.

Cox, the first person to lead the club out at Wembley when he did so in 1998, spoke candidly to Neil Perrett and Kris Temple about his career with the Cherries, how he found his way to the south coast and the wrench it was to leave for Burnley.
