AFC Bournemouth can confirm it will be hosting an online auction to raise money for cancer charity Lymphoma Action.
During the win over Bristol City in October, goalscorer Jamal Lowe held up a shirt dedicated to Cherries midfielder David Brooks, who had revealed his diagnosis of Hodgkin lymphoma ahead of the game. The shirt has been signed by the first team and will lead the auction.
Meanwhile, the entire starting line-up and substitutes from the game against Huddersfield Town, our first home game since David’s diagnosis, has signed their warm-up tops, which featured messages of support to the Wales international.
All proceeds from the auction will be dedicated to Lymphoma Action, who are the only UK charity dedicated to lymphoma, the fifth most common form of cancer.
Lymphoma Action has been providing in-depth, expert information for 35 years and has helped thousands of people affected by lymphoma.
Supporters can learn more about Hodgkin lymphoma and the work Lymphoma Action do here.
The auction will take place until 9pm on Friday 24th December and can be accessed here.
