Cherries enjoy Christmas visits

AFC Bournemouth players and staff have been visiting local hospitals and hospices ahead of a busy Christmas period.

First-team regulars were on hand to give out presents, whilst the likes of Eddie Howe, Jason Tindall and Steve Fletcher were also in attendance to meet local fans.

The team first visited Julia’s House, a charity who provide practical and emotional support for families caring for a child with a life-limiting or life-threatening condition.

The squad, who came together to select individual gifts for those the charity support, spent the afternoon posing for pictures, having a kick-around in the garden and playing Fifa on the PlayStation in a hotly-contested match.

Today, the Cherries head off to Poole Hospital to visit those who won’t be able to spend Christmas at home.

Players and staff will again hand out gifts and sign the likes of autograph books and shirts, before spending time talking about all things Bournemouth with those in the hospital.
