Carol service confirmed at Vitality Stadium

AFC Bournemouth’s annual carol service is returning this year to Vitality Stadium.

Last year, over 1,000 locals – supporters, school children, community groups & churches – joined us at Vitality Stadium for the Community Carol Service.

Those 1,000 people enjoyed an hour of carols, choirs, band, interviews and fun focusing on the hope that can be found in the birth of Jesus.

This year’s event will again be held in the main stand of the Vitality Stadium and will again be free, on Tuesday 5th December with proceedings kicking off at 6.30pm.

There will be members of the first and youth team squads together with chairman Jeff Mostyn and club staff lending their support to the event.

Adam Parrett, Cherries club chaplain, is new to the role of club chaplain and is excited about the event: "The carol service has now become an integral part of the Cherries Christmas season and we invite anyone to come and enjoy carols and hear about the heart of Christmas in a totally unique environment.

"It’s fantastic for the club to open their doors and enable the community to enjoy this free event – we look forward to seeing you then!"

During the event there will be a collection for the work of the Salvation Army and for this year’s AFC Bournemouth chosen charities.
