Camp extends Eastleigh loan

AFC Bournemouth defender Brennan Camp has extended his loan spell with Eastleigh until the end of the season.

Camp has made six appearances in the National League since joining the Spitfires at the end of last month.

He was named man of the match for his impressive display on his debut in a 1-1 draw with Southend United at the Silverlake Stadium.

Camp, who has featured for the Cherries in the Carabao Cup and FA Cup this season, also caught the eye during a 4-1 win over Wealdstone.

The 21-year-old started against Dagenham & Redbridge at the Silverlake Stadium on Tuesday as Eastleigh old boy Paul McCallum grabbed the only goal for the visitors.

Camp was replaced by Sam Smart seven minutes before half-time against the Daggers having aggravated a foot injury.

Former Cherries midfielder Brian Stock, who Camp played under during a loan spell at Weymouth last season, was this week appointed assistant manager to Lee Bradbury at Eastleigh.
