Arter joins Nottingham Forest

Harry Arter has completed a move to Nottingham Forest, ending his association with AFC Bournemouth that stretches back over ten years.

The midfielder leaves for Forest for an undisclosed fee, having signed for the Cherries in June 2010 from Conference South side Woking, joining the side in League One.

He made his Bournemouth debut in August of the same year in a 1-0 win over his former club Charlton Athletic, going on to make 256 appearances and netting 29 goals in all competitions.

Arter's decade in red and black also saw him play a pivotal role in the club's promotion from both League One and the Championship, representing the club at the highest level on 73 occasions and scoring on three occasions.

In the past two seasons, the 30-year-old has taken in loan spells with Cardiff City and Fulham, helping the latter to promotion through the play-offs in 2019/20.

Most recently, the midfielder returned to Vitality Stadium and played for the Cherries in the Carabao Cup win over Crystal Palace earlier this month.

The club would like to place on record its thanks to Harry for his hard work and determination while representing the Cherries, wishing him the very best with his future career in the game.
