The under-18s plundered double figures in a huge 10-0 Youth Alliance League win at Cheltenham Town on Saturday.
The Cherries were 6-0 up at the break against the Robins - who had won their last three games - Jake Adams opening the scoring early on, with Euan Pollock, Marcus Daws and Adams all having two goals each by the interval.
Among the first half-dozen strikes one of Daws' strikes came from an Ajani Burchall cross from the right, while Pollock was able to make the most of a Jack Seddon through ball.
Ferdinand Okoh replaced Daws at the break, going alongside a change in formation, Adams completing his hat-trick with a curled effort into the far corner, Okoh making the final two goals with clever passes, Adams and Pollock both reaching four goals a piece by the game's end.
After the match, manager Alan Connell spoke to afcb.co.uk about his side's ten-goal performance.
"Cheltenham had been on a decent run so I warned our lads against complacency," he said. "In the first few minutes they got up against us and it was a tricky start, but our boys settled down and we scored early, which helped.
"From that moment on we took full control. We moved the ball well at times and showed a lot of maturity and professionalism to keep doing the right things.
"That meant that we took a significant lead into half time. We changed shape because we thought it was a good opportunity to put some of the work we've done into a game scenario.
"Then it was about reemphasizing our standards and also stressing the importance of trying to keep a clean sheet. A lot of the time when you see a convincing win you concede one or two so that was a big mindset point I wanted from the players and they delivered that well.
"Albeit, Cheltenham had a bit more pressure and we had to defend our goal well at times.
"All-in-all, it was a really pleasing day and we'll get back to work on Monday and prepare for the away game at Plymouth in the Youth Alliance Cup on Wednesday."
Substitute Okoh made a strong impression on the game with his two assists, Connell speaking positively of the summer midfield recruit.
"Ferdi is improving every day," he said. "He's a fantastic character and he does everything right every single day. He came on at half time and had a positive impact, creating two goals.
"I'm delighted with his work, he needs to keep pushing all the time and we've got a lot of belief in him."
