Big win for the under-18s who score six against Queens Park Rangers in a midweek home friendly.
Ash Pope and James Boote netted a brace each while Jaidon Anthony and Nnamdi Ofoborh - on his 18th birthday - also scored.
The match took place as the squad were looking to get minutes and build experience against the category 2 Hoops.
"We started the game well and were 2-0 up within ten minutes, with QPR on the backfoot," said under-18s manager Alan Connell.
"The first goal was a good team effort and after that we kept going and were continually progressive in terms of winning the ball back."
With the Cherries four goals up at the break the performance levels remained high in the second period.
"We made a couple of subs and had players learning new roles slightly out of position. We kept our focus and played well to earn a good result."
The squad's game with Portsmouth on Saturday has been postponed, with details of a new date for the fixture to be released in due course.
The under-18s are sponsored by Strategic Solutions this season.
