Brennan Camp strikes late for under-18s to secure point against Portsmouth.

Brennan Camp was the goalscorer late on, as his cross sailed through a crowded penalty area before nestling in the far corner.

Portsmouth’s opener had come just before the interval through Freddie Read.

After the game manager Alan Connell said: "It was a competitive game, a local derby and it was played in a good spirit.

"We were happy with our performance, we created chances with the only frustrating aspect being that we didn't take the chances we should have done in the final third.

"We played some nice stuff at times. You always look for improvement and we could have had more consistency in our decision making."

Connell’s under-18s are next in action away at Newport County on Saturday 16th September.
