Report: Oxford United 2-1 AFC Bournemouth

Saturday's original match was postponed due to a frozen pitch with, after another change before kick off, the game played on the 3G pitch at Court Place Farm near Oxford instead.
The Cherries took the lead in the first half when a corner was headed home by Sam Sherring, however U's goals after the break from Jordan Graham and Graham Bryan turned the game in the hosts' favour.
Academy manager and head of coaching, Joe Roach, gave feedback on the game: "The first half was akin to all our first halves, we had plenty of possession of the ball, created opportunities and Oxford weren't too much of a threat. We probably could have done with scoring another couple of goals to give us a base for the second half.
"At half time we spoke about how to penetrate at times and get behind them in the second half. Oxford came out with a game plan, scored and that put us on the back foot.
"Then we had some apprehension and conceded a second. We still had opportunities to score but with Carl Fletcher looking to provide players for the under-21s on Wednesday it was more disjointed than normal in the second half.
"The positive we had was a couple of schoolboys in there playing, that was a bonus for them; we have a great progression route at the moment."
