Thank you
To end things, a huge thank you to the 350 AFC Bournemouth fans who have shown incredible dedication to be here at Carrow Road this evening
Singing to the end, the third away game of the month and the long journey to Hull City to come on Saturday.
Thank you for your dedication, we canβt say how much your unwavering, undying support is appreciated.
Safe journeys home to all of you.
Cherries make changes
In recent minutes Ryan Glover has come on for his senior Cherries debut, another academy graduate making it through to the senior side.
Christian Saydee is now on the field as well.
Goal. 6-0 to Norwich
A familiar story from tonight.
The Cherries give the ball away, City profit with Tzolis running through, he lays the ball off for Sargent and the ball finds the net.
Carrow Road action
GOAL. 5-0 to Norwich
Nyland's ball is intercepted, Sargent was quick to feed Tzolis and he slots home.
Ibsen Rossi rescues
Norwich dominating now, a real test for this inexperienced Cherries side.
Some good play and it's worked to Williams on the left, his low ball in is threatening but Ibsen Rossi is well positioned to stretch and put the ball behind.
Rogers takes a blow to the head
Free-kick for Norwich and it cannons into the wall and the head of Rogers.
He's straight to the turf and the physios are quick to attend to him.
Thankfully he's soon sitting up and now walking to the touchline unaided; set to continue in this match.
GOAL! 4-0 to Norwich
That's the game in a nutshell I'm afraid.
The ball's given away 35 yards from goal and Norwich scythe through. A brilliant save from Nyland to stop the first shot but it falls to Sargent who taps the loose ball home from close range.
Back at it
No changes for either side and we're back under way at Carrow Road, a big deficit facing the Cherries in this second half.
Reviewing the half
The Cherries have had reasonable spells with the ball here at Carrow Road and have asked questions, especially with sweeping diagonal balls.
However, they've also lost possession in risky areas and struggled to close down when City have penetrated into the final third, that Canaries sharpness has been the key difference between the sides and explains the three-goal home lead.
One minute to add on
Rogers on the run
The new boy flips the ball over his defender and hares into space before swishing a delicious ball over to Brooks.
The defence stands up to the Cherries pulse but there have been positive glimpses in this first half, despite the scoreline.
Tempo reducing
Now both sides are keeping possession, with occasional probing balls forward.
GOAL! 3-0 to Norwich
Another quick counter and it's finished off clinically by Rupp, 16 yards from the target.
GOAL! Norwich double their advantage
Unstoppable 20-yard strike from McLean, nothing Nyland could do about that.
There's the ruthlessness, the Cherries playing the ball around well, having a measure of control - only to be undone in short order by a Premier League piece of attacking play from Norwich.
Promising moves
The ball's dinked into Taylor making a forward run and on the penalty spot, he neatly chests down and for a second Marcondes looks like he has a clear shooting opportunity.
In the blink of an eye a defender appears and the shot's smothered behind.
From the corner, and it's Camp at the back post who heads goalwards. Easy for Gunn though, the City 'keeper gathering.
Rogers is a Cherries man
Still, this photo might (I said might...) cheer you up a bit.
Tough one to take...
Nyland had no chance there, his first real action being to pick the ball out of his net.
The Cherries have given as good as they gotten in the early stages, but now find themselves a goal behind.
GOAL! Norwich lead 1-0 after a big deflection
Good ball over the top to City debutant Tzolis, he's running through on goal, before checking back onto his right foot.
The shot comes in, takes a massive deflection off the covering defender and loops up and over the helpless Nyland.
Shape watch
Marcondes is playing through the middle tonight, flanked by Rogers and Brooks on his right and left.
Squeezing up nice and high and asking questions of the City defenders in possession.
Bright start in Norfolk
Both teams have begun on the front foot. The Cherries pushing high and looking to put their opponents under pressure, while Josh Sargent has already had the chance to open up his legs for City.
Here come the teams!
We're in our familiar (and beautiful!) red and black home colours tonight.
...And the teams are out onto the turf, ready to go!
Ten minutes to go
The Cherries have been out and are now back into the dressing room, the substitutes are testing out Will Dennis' reactions in a shooting drill.
Closing in on kick-off at a filling-up Carrow Road now!
And our new Norwegian
Saydee taking on the challenge
Some pre-match reading...
New faces
So it's a debut for loan signing Morgan Rogers, who only sealed his move yesterday evening.
It's also a first senior start for Portland local Brennan Camp, who starts at right-back after making a strong impression at Weymouth last season.
Leif Davis also makes his first start for the club, with Orjan Nyland between the sticks for his debut.
Good luck lads!
Here we go!
Team news at 6pm
We'll find out exactly what personnel Scott Parker has in mind in just 15 minutes' time.
How we got here...
Norwich got here by being a Premier League team, so this is their first taste of cup football this season.
On the other hand, we kicked off our season with a 5-0 win over MK Dons.
A memorable afternoon for plenty of our younger squad members (many of whom have now gone on to make a huge first-team impressions), not least Christian Saydee, who's first senior goal preceded a first senior assist minutes later.
Will be see more history like that made tonight I wonder?
Welcome to Carrow Road!
Ready for some more Carabao Cup Action?
Well, let's hope so. We kick-off tonight at the slightly earlier time of 7pm ... And you can follow the match here on our matchday blog.
