GET IN!!!!!

Philip Billing's second half goal is the difference and we're taking those three points back to Bournemouth!

Another change...

On comes Chris Mepham for Jaidon Anthony.

A brilliant shift from the youngster.

Substitution for the Cherries

Jamal Lowe replaces Dominic Solanke in the final moments.

Adam Smith and Leandro Bacuna are booked for an off-the-ball confrontation.

Morgan Rogers has made an impact since coming on, driving into the box and trying to cut back to Solanke.

It drops to Billing at a tight angle who drives an effort at the near post and they need to head it behind.

Solanke fires wide

The Cherries win a corner and play it short, Anthony using his trickery to open up a crossing opportunity.

He finds Solanke in the middle who volleys at goal, but it bounces just wide.

Sean Morrison rises highest from a deep cross and cannons his header against the bar.

However, the offside flag was up so it wouldn't have counted.

The pressure is ramping up though.

Change for the Cherries

Ryan Christie is replaced by Morgan Rogers.

Great shift from Ryan!

Big penalty shout for the hosts

Kieffer Moore gets into the channel inside the box, cuts inside past Smith and tries to beat Cahill, but the defender blocks his path and clears.

The Cardiff players and fans demand a penalty but the referee is unmoved, and rightly so.

Just over

The first real chance of the second half for Cardiff as Collins gets onto the end of a great cross, his header going over the bar.

Final change for Cardiff

Joel Bagan comes on for Ciaron Brown.

We love a Billing kneeslide!

Billing goes close... TWICE!

Jefferson Lerma wins a free-kick on the edge of the box after a clever flick over the head of the defender.

Billing steps up and smashes an effort at goal, which requires Phillips to save well.

He has another great chance minutes later as the ball finds him in the area but he skewers his shot well wide of the far post. He probably should have buried that one.

Will need to make sure these chances count heading into the final 20 minutes.

Almost a goal for Billing again!

Pearson flicks the ball to Smith under pressure, the full-back spins his man before playing it to Billing who races away from his defender.

He gets to the edge of the box and curls one towards the left-corner but its wide.

Good finish, Phil!

Changes for Cardiff

Two substitutions for the home side:

James Collins and Rubin Colwill come on for Mark Harris and Tom Sang.

It's brilliant work from Smith who drives in-field having exchanged a one-two with Christie, the full-back laying it off for Billing to fire into the bottom corner from the edge of the box. Phillips is left motionless, the placement perfect there.

Good start to the second half!

Yellow card for Lerma

The Colombian takes a big touch and slides after the ball, fouling Ciaron Brown.

Cardiff's players surround the referee hoping for a red card but the official keeps calm and gives a yellow.

It's been a good start in this second period as twice Zemura has gotten into the box.

The second time, he clips a good ball towards Solanke at the back post. He rises high and directs a header towards the far post, it's lacking power but still requires Harris to make the block.

It then comes out for Billing to get his head on and he connects cleanly but lifts it over the bar.

Back for the second half

Cardiff get this second half underway.

We're shooting towards the Cherries fans in the left-hand corner, so hopefully we can give them something to cheer about!

Finally, we can confirm it is half-time here at Cardiff City Stadium.

It has been for a while but the internet is terrible here so the updates are struggling!

Cardiff had a decent opening 10 minutes but the Cherries have controlled the majority of the first-half.

Chances have been limited, Christie forcing a decent save from Phillips after Anthony had rounded the goalkeeper and made Nelson's clear from within his goalmouth.

One minute added time

It's been that kind of half...

It's been a bit feisty too!

This is the result of Vaulks tripping up Cahill.

Quiet few minutes

Little to report in the last few minutes as the Cherries continue to probe. No chances.

Cherries having to be patient here

Cardiff have lined up with a really flat back five which is making it hard for the Cherries to find space in attacking areas.

They're trying to keep the ball, move it around quickly and find space for attacks with intricate passes.

A yellow card has been given to Cardiff's Harris for a foul on Zemura.

Anthony is looking bright!

Travers saves from Moore

The goalkeeper makes a poor clearance with his left foot and it falls to Moore at the edge of the box.

Pearson does enough to delay the shot and Moore's resulting left-footed effort is easily saved.

Yellow card for Christie

A Cherries corner is headed away and Lerma swings a leg at it, but misses his kick.

Christie then stops the counter attack with a foul, receiving a yellow card.

Unbelievably, Will Vaulks trips over Cahill in the aftermath, causing a brief scuffle but avoids a yellow card himself.

Good save from Phillips

Good from Christie!

The Cherries won the ball in midfield and Lerma found Christie in plenty of space on the right wing.

He drives towards the box and curls an effort toward the far corner, forcing Phillips to push it away.

Cherries fans making great noise

Credit to the over 1300 Cherries fans that have made the trip to Cardiff here.

They almost had a moment to cheer about as Billing tucked home from inside the box, following Christie's pass.

However, the referee has blown for a foul on the Dane, alleging that he'd pulled down Morrison.

In white this afternoon!

Christie forces a save

Much brighter from the Cherries as Anthony is becoming more prominent down the left flank.

He has drifted inside and pokes the ball to Solanke, who finds Lerma at the edge of the box.

Lerma plays in Christie, who takes a touch inside and fires at goal. It's a shot on target but a lack of pace means it doesn't trouble Phillips.

First chance for the Cherries

Lloyd Kelly sends a lovely lofted ball over the backline into the path of Jaidon Anthony, who beats the offside trap.

The Cardiff goalkeeper Phillips is out quickly but Anthony easily takes it around him.

However, he's pushed into a wide area and can't shoot so drills a low ball across goal, which is cleared behind by a Cardiff defender.

Cardiff overloading wide areas

One area of attack for the home side is sending long ball down the flanks, competing against the smaller full-backs rather than Cahill or Kelly in the middle.

They're making it harder for Smith and Zemura by grouping two or three men in a similar area, meaning it's more likely for a Cardiff head to win the ball.

Hopefully we'll see that lead to areas for Bournemouth to expose should we win the ball.

Good defending by Cahill

Zemura and Kelly lose out on a long ball forward down the right flank and Bacuna has the chance to send a low cross into the box, but Cahill has positioned himself excellently to make the block.

The resulting corner is cleared away but Cardiff get the ball into the box again, Cahill again getting his foot to it but deflecting it towards goal. However Travers makes an excellent stop, albeit it wouldn't have counted due to the offside flag anyway.

A milestone for Solanke!

The Cherries man is making his 100th appearance for the side today!

We're underway!

The Cherries get this game off and running.

Here the teams come!

Lloyd Kelly leads the Cherries out at Cardiff City Stadium!

Getting warm!

The last time we visited Cardiff City Stadium

We made the trip to Cardiff City in October last season and played out a 1-1 draw.

Dominic Solanke, who will make his 100th Cherries appearance today, opened the scoring before former loanee Harry Wilson netted the equaliser for Cardiff.

Alex Smithies made a wonder save in the second half to deny Solanke a second and earn the Bluebirds a point.

Here's how we line-up!

Just the one change for Scott Parker's men as Ben Pearson comes in for David Brooks.

Presumably Pearson's defensive abilities have been identified as key against a physical Cardiff side that former Forest manager Chris Hughton described as 'the biggest Championship team' he's ever faced.

We'll find out team news shortly

The Cherries have arrived at Cardiff City Stadium ahead of kick-off.

We're expecting to find out the team at 2pm.

It's a lovely day in Wales so far as the two sides go head to head in game eight of the season.
