Commentary By

Goals by Dominic Solanke and Philip Billing complete a fantastic win at Vitality Stadium.

Change for Bournemouth

Solanke is replaced by Stacey.

Sheffield United hit the post

Lys Mousset heads against the frame of the goal from close-range.

Six minutes added on

A long way to go in this fixture as the fourth official signals six minutes. The stadium gasps.

The corner is played short

It's touched to Adam Smith who keeps it in the corner and wins a throw-in.

Sheffield United do eventually get it clear when they win a free-kick.

Lowe wins a corner

An immediate impact as Lowe races down the right touchline and sends a good cross towards Solanke in the middle.

A defender clears it behind for a corner.

Second change for Cherries

You won't be surprised to see Sheffield United are sending ball after ball into the box. Ryan Christie wins a throw in to relieve some of the pressure.

That's his final touch as he's replaced by Jamal Lowe. Exceptional performance from him off the ball.

Change for Bournemouth

Scott Parker makes his first substitution as Philip Billing is replaced by Chris Mepham.

Let's go, Meps!

Sheffield United think they've equalised.

They win a free-kick at the edge of the box following a foul by Pearson.

Gibbs-White steps up and powers a shot at goal and it cannons off a fellow Blade and goes wide.

So close from Zemura!

He makes an excellent run with the ball, exchanges a one-two with Solanke, and fires at goal. Unfortunately, it hits the outside of the net but good effort.

He then gets a yellow card for taking the ball away afterwards.

A man on form!

That makes it six goals in all competitions for Philip Billing this season.

Changes for Sheffield United

Lys Mousset and Oli McBurnie are replacing Billy Sharp and Iliman Ndiaye.

A great turnaround

To say the roof has lifted at Vitality Stadium would be an understatement.

We mentioned that the Cherries hadn't been behind once this season and there were questions about how we'd respond when we did fall behind.

Well, there are no questions now. Brilliant response.

Still, 20 minutes to go and we're sure more twists and turns to come.

No mistake from Dom!

What a few minutes for the Cherries!

Brilliant work from Christie to win the ball in the Sheffield United half and pick out a perfect pass to Billing in the box.

The Dane then tucks it into the bottom corner.

What a crazy few minutes!

The striker steps up to take the penalty he won and he slowly saunters up to the spot.

Olsen commits early and dives to his right, Solanke placing it in the other direction.

Brilliant penalty.

Have we got a penalty here? We have!

Solanke makes a good run beyond the defence and is brought down racing through on goal.

GOAL - Sheffield United

For the first time this season, the Cherries are behind.

A long ball forward bounces beyond the defence and into the path of Sharp.

He cuts it back to Gibbs-White, who rifles his effort past Travers.

Yellow for Smith and Osborn

It's started scrappily again in the second half as tempers flare.

Ben Osborn goes down easily on the left flank and the referee waves play on, and Adam Smith isn't pleased with the United man.

It calms down and the referee gives both players a yellow card.

Change for Sheffield United

George Baldock picks up an injury as they clear the ball away and his 150th appearance for United ends.

He is replaced by Chris Basham.

Wow. How have we not scored?!

Billing sends a clever reverse pass into the path of Zemura in the box.

He plays it across to Solanke who has a golden opportunity to score, his two efforts somehow blocked by Stevens.

It then deflects to Anthony, who aims a header towards the far corner, but it's blocked again.

The second half is underway!

Dominic Solanke gets the second period started.

Come on you Cherries!

It's been an interesting first-half at Vitality Stadium.

In the pouring rain, the Cherries have had a lot of good moments with some really nice football being played.

However, the best chances have fallen to the visitors and they should be ahead. Sharp and Davies have squandered the opportunity.

What a pass!

A late chance for the Cherries as Christie sends a brilliant cross-field pass to Anthony, who brings it under control brilliantly and fires at goal.

It takes a wicked deflection and drops wide of the post.

From the resulting corner, a Blades head gets it away but Lerma puts it back into the middle.

It then appears to drop kindly for Solanke in the middle but out of nowhere a defender comes across to head away.

Two minutes added

As the board goes up, Kelly is required to make a good intervention from a through ball forward. Other than the touch for Sharp's chance, he's been exceptional today.

A golden chance for Sharp.

Chances for both teams

The visiting team should be ahead, as Ben Davies goes close.

They win a corner on the left and it finds Davies at the back-post, his header crashes against the floor and over the bar.

At the other end, Anthony sprays a clever ball into the path of Christie.

The Scot ignores Smith at the edge of the box and goes for goal himself, curling it just wide of the far corner.

That's a huge chance for Billy Sharp!

Lloyd Kelly has been imperious today but in the wet weather, he mis-controls a ball and Sharp finds himself one-on-one.

Travers is out to narrow the angle and the forward tries to power it into the roof of the net but puts it over the bar instead.

The best chance of the game but we're still goalless.

Pearson good to continue

Things we love to see as the midfielder returns to play!

Pearson receiving treatment

We've had a break in play as Ben Pearson requires treatment on a head injury.

He's slipped and crashed into the back of Billy Sharp, his head taking the brunt of the blow.

He's sitting up and looks okay so hopefully will be good to continue.

Sharp... offside!

Sheffield United threaten down the left side and Osborn fires a good cross into the box.

Sharp gets across Kelly but touches it over, but the offside flag is up anyway.

Good line by the defence!

Lloyd Kelly's passing range is a joke!

He pings an inch perfect pass to Christie on the right flank, the ball then works its way quickly back across the pitch to Anthony.

He drives into the box and sends a low delivery across goal, which just is beyond Zemura who has made a good dart towards the near post.

All a visiting defender can do is flick it backwards but unfortunately for the Cherries, it doesn't land at a red and black shirt.

The closest we've come!

Olsen had to make a save from Billing's excellent free-kick.

What was Robin Olsen doing there?

The Sheffield United goalkeeper takes his time on the ball and finds himself quickly closed down by Solanke.

He panics and passes it out but it falls straight to Billing.

Unfortunately for the Dane, it comes onto his weak foot and under pressure and the effort, which was goalbound, lacked the power to stop Olsen from scrambling back.

Sheffield United corner dealt with

The Blades have had the second most corners in the division this season, winning their 67th of the season.

Like the first one, they play it short before sending a cross into the box but Kelly wins the header.

Zemura almost can start a counter attack as he goes for a 50/50 by the half-way line but a foul is given against him.

Lerma header is saved!

The Cherries looks threatening on the attack and Anthony wins a corner on the left.

He plays a short one-two with Christie and sends a looping cross towards the back stick.

Lerma propels himself into the air and wins the header, sending it across goal and Olsen is forced to make a catch.

Philip Billing steps up to take the free-kick. It's comfortably 30 yards from goal, so looks a long way out.

But it's a brilliant effort from Billing who aims it towards to top right corner.

Olsen has to get across and pushes it behind for a corner, which doesn't come to anything.

How the teams are set up

Sheffield United were renowned for their back five in the Premier League which focused on overlapping centre-backs.

Under Jokanovic, it looks to be a 4-2-3-1, Billy Sharp leading the line.

The Cherries are in our usual 4-3-3 with Ben Pearson the holding midfielder.

It's been a scrappy opening few minutes as both teams get used to the conditions but John Fleck picks up an early yellow card for a cynical trip on Ryan Christie.

Bright start by Sheffield United

Mark Travers is called into action early in this encounter as Ben Osborn's skewed cross is palmed over.

The conditions have had an impact on the first couple minutes with a few hefty challenges and a few heavy touches.

The resulting corner is clever as it is passed to the edge of the box but the following pass to the middle evades all the visiting forwards.

We're underway!

Sheffield United get this afternoon's game kicked-off!

Let's go you Cherries!

Here we go...

The lads make their way to the pitch for this big Sky Bet Championship fixture with Sheffield United.

It's wet, it's starting to get chilly but we've got no doubt it's going to be a great game!

Warm-ups well underway!

How the visitors line-up

All smiles

As we mentioned earlier, it is wet. It's very wet.

But that hasn't stopped the smiles on the faces of Phil Billing, Dom Solanke and Lloyd Kelly.

Talking about Kelly, the skipper today is one of two Cherries players to have played every minute this season, alongside Jordan Zemura.

Here's how we line-up!

It's a familiar look to Scott Parker's side as he reverts to the side that started the win over Luton Town.

Jack Stacey, David Brooks and Morgan Rogers had started the midweek trip to Peterborough but all three return to the bench this afternoon.
