Six minutes added

88'

Michael Olise, Lucas Joao and Tom Holmes are coming off.

Tomas Esteves, Yakou Meite and Andy Yiadom coming on.

86'

King shot blocked

Excellent control and dribbling by King as he runs into the box but his effort is blocked.

84'

GOAL - Bournemouth

Junior Stanislas pulls one back.

Jack Wilshere wins a free-kick at the edge of the box and Stanislas lifts the ball over the wall and into the bottom corner.

79'

Sub for Bournemouth

Junior Stanislas comes on for Philip Billing.

74'

Sub for Reading

Ovie Ejaria is replaced by Sone Aluko. He's picked up a knock and limps off, despite the fourth official initiallly signalling for Olise to be replaced.

71'

Alfa Semedo on

John Swift off for the home side.

65'

Keep pushing

63'

Some save by Rafael

Brooks drives in a cross from the right, Billing gets a foot to it and it looks destined for the far corner but for a brilliant hand by Rafael.

He makes another good save from Steve Cook's looping header from the resulting corner.

Brooks' delivery has been excellent from the set pieces, but things not falling for us in this second half!

61'

How has that not gone in?

A brilliant corner by Brooks is glanced across the box, it drops at the feet of Mepham who has his shot blocked before King gets a shot off but somehow it's deflected behind.

Replays show it might have hit Holmes' hand but no real complaints.

57'

Deflected just over

Joshua King turns on the halfway line and races down the right touchline, showing a real turn of pace.

He squares the ball into the middle and a Reading defender gets a leg to it, diverting it narrowly over the bar.

The resulting corner is headed across the box but the goalkeeper just about gets it away.

54'

Swift fires over

The Reading midfielder finds the ball at the edge of the box and connects sweetly, sweeping it at goal but it's over the bar.

52'

Lewis Cook fires wide

The pace is very frantic as you'd expect as the Cherries work the ball to the left where Joshua King is situated.

He tries to beat his man before then finding Lewis Cook at the edge of the box.

He drives an effort at goal, it's hit well but is just wide.

46'

Early corner

The Cherries have come out with a renewed pace and purpose and Stacey wins an early corner.

Brooks takes and Adam Smith rises highest in the box. He connects well but his header flies over!

HT

Triple substitution

Adam Smith, David Brooks and Jack Wilshere are coming on for the Cherries.

Diego Rico, Jefferson Lerma and Arnaut Danjuma are the players replaced.

HT

HALF TIME

Reading 3-0 AFC Bournemouth.

42'

GOAL - Reading

Lucas Joao scores. He cuts inside in the box and side-foots home.

A long way back here for the Cherries.

37'

Change of shape

It appears we've made a change in shape as we search for a way back into the game.

Lewis Cook has moved to right wing, Joshua King has joined Dominic Solanke up-front.

Looks like a 4-2-4 formation!

33'

Yellow card for John Swift

Dominic Solanke makes a good run through the middle of the pitch before the referee blows for a foul as he was clipped.

John Swift kicks the ball away after the whistle is blown and receives the first yellow card of the game.

30'

GOAL - Reading

Tom McIntyre doubles the hosts lead.

Reading win a free-kick at the edge of the box following a late Diego Rico challenge.

Michael Olise steps up to take the free-kick, it's a low effort and Begovic gets his palm onto it.

The rebound falls to McIntyre this time and he turns home.

23'

GOAL - Reading

Josh Laurent opens the scoring.

The Cherries don't clear a corner as the ball is sent back into the box. A shot is fired at goal and Mepham gets his body in the way.

Unfortunately, the ball drops at the feet of Josh Laurent who fires into the roof of the net.

18'

Big chance for Reading

A back-pass rolls between Mepham and Begovic and a moment's hesitation for the pair allows Lucas Joao to race in and snatch the ball.

He's in a wide position so can't shoot himself but finds John Swift in the box, who shoots first time.

His effort squirms wide of the far post but Steve Cook had raced back on his line and would have been there to clear if on target.

Nonetheless, a good chance for the hosts.

17'

The only shot so far!

10'

Fairly quiet opening 10 minutes

There's not been a lot to report from this opening 10 minutes. The hosts have probably edged the possession count, holding the ball fairly nicely.

The only shot on goal did come from the Cherries through Danjuma, that required a decent save, and his running at players looks to be a real threat so far.

8'

Early menace

4'

First save!

Arnaut Danjuma looks very sharp!

The Dutchman is picking up spaces and taking on the defenders and has our first shot on goal, forcing a good save from Rafael.

Danjuma picked it up at the edge of the box and fired with his left foot, it's driven with pace to the right side of the net but the goalkeeper gets across to palm it away.

Promising sign though!

3'

Formation watch

At first glance, it appears both sides are matching each other with 4-3-3 formations.

The Cherries have Lewis Cook in the holding midfield role, with Lerma on his right and Billing on his left.

Up front, Danjuma is out on the left, King on the right and Solanke down the middle.

Danjuma interchanges with Billing excellently and races behind the Reading back-line, his cut-back not quite able to find a player in red though.

We're underway!

The Cherries get the game started.

Let's go lads!

19:58

Teams on their way out

This reporter almost didn't notice as I was too pre-occupied with the bats that are flying around the stadium!

The two teams converge to the pitch as 'Sweet Caroline' blasts out on the speaker. Yes, we're definitely in Reading!

19:55

Lads head to the dressing room

Time for the final team talk ahead of kick-off!

The Cherries are changing in the far right corner, the opposite side to the tunnel, and the linesman has had to be ready early to head over there in time to make sure the players are out in time.

What will Jason Tindall be saying ahead of kick-off?

19:52

Kick-off fast approaching

19:15

We've arrived!

19:11

A remarkable comeback

Junior Stanislas got injured in the game against Millwall on January 12th.

Jason Tindall said on January 15th that he didn't expect the midfielder to return before the end of the month.

But here he is! Back on the team-sheet for this evening's game.

Great work from Junior and the Cherries medical team to get him back so quickly!
