We've been beaten, thanks to a comeback from Barnsley in this second-half.

We just couldn't take one of our half chances and unfortunately, been punished for it at the other end.

Thank you so much for following us wherever you are around the world, we really do appreciate it.

We'll see you here on Tuesday evening for our home game against Swansea.

Cross from Danjuma....

Lovely interplay from Danjuma and Kelly gets the Dutchman away on the left!

He drills in a low cross which is just waiting for someone to slam into the net, but Barnsley scramble it away.

You do feel if we get something, it's most likely to come from a piece of magic from him down the left.

Into the final five minutes...

Barnsley are defending well and are making it extremely tough for us to create chances.

We may get one more chance, but it's going to take something special.

Hopefully we can make something happen!

To be fair, it's been coming...

A free-kick from the left is whipped into a dangerous area and Morris is able to rise highest in the box to get his head to it and past Begovic.

Based on the second-half, it's what they deserve to be honest.

We're 3-2 down here, a big ten minutes needed here.

GOAL for Barnsley.

Morris with the header. They're ahead.

Surridge goes into the book...

Eyes for the ball, Surridge challenges in the air with Andersen, with the big defender going down.

It looked a fair challenge from up here, but much to the dismay of our bench, the frontman is booked.

Barnsley well on top here as we head into the final stretch...

Morris is booked...

Begovic claims a corner well, commanding his area to rise highest again.

The Barnsley players have clearly been instructed to stop his throw, as Morris holds the 'keeper's shirt to stop us countering and not letting Begovic hurl it long like he did for our opener.

A definite yellow for that.

A long ball from Cook is superbly accurate and Surridge makes a great forward run to get in behind.

He gets to the ball and gets kicked by the goalkeeper, but somehow, the referee lets it play!

That results in Danjuma getting the ball outside the box, he can't fashion a shot at goal with Collins scrambling.

But the players aren't happy nothing happened with the initial incident when Surridge was clipped.

Sub for Barnsley...

The goalscorer Frieser is off now.

Daryl Dike comes on and is given some really strong motivational words from the Barnsley boss just below us.

We win a corner after some good work gets Stacey in behind, and his cross is well cleared.

Stanislas whips it in and Lerma rises so high in the middle, no one challenged him, but it's JUST wide!

Great leap, just so unlucky.

Double sub for us...

Billing and Surridge have come on for Long and Pearson.

They're straight swaps and the system hasn't changed, it's still a 4-4-2 from our side.

Hopefully they can make an impact and swing the game back in our favour.

Woodrow fires wide...

Barnsley having a right spell now.

Woodrow drives from a wide area to 25-yards away from goal.

He drills a really good low effort but it fizzes just wide of Begovic's post.

Clearly the subs have worked, Barnsley look much better in this half.

Maybe a slice of fortune...

Woodrow gets the ball on the right-hand side and he drills in a cross which takes a huge nick off a defender.

That deflection diverts the ball into the path of Frieser who gets a deft touch, it's an instinctive reaction, and it's diverted into the bottom corner.

The cross was deflected but in fairness to Frieser, it's a tidy finish.

GOAL for Barnsley.

Frieser scores. 2-2.

Good chance!

Collins is lucky!

Again, another direct pass down the channel and Collins takes a huge swipe at it, but just kicks the air and the ball rolls past him!

It's about 25-yards out at a tight angle on the right and Solanke nicks it to get there first!

It's got to be a special attempt to find the corner even with the goal open, as he's got a defender quickly for company.

He drills a low one into the box but Sibbick was alert in the area to clear it away.

Long has had a few early sighters this half...

Again, the longer play is suiting Long's willing runs in behind.

He's had one that he would've been clean through on, but a Barnsley head JUST glanced it away.

A second long ball in towards the Irishman almost came to fruition, he got a touch on the ball and the keeper came speeding out, and unfortunately nicked the ball against Long for a throw in.

Opening of the second-half...

Has been quite similar to the first.

We're still looking to go a bit longer but the Barnsley manager's words must've rang true at the break.

There's a bit more purpose about them with their press and they're having a bit more of the ball too.

Back underway...

The Barnsley manager clearly wasn't happy with his side's performance.

He was sat in the dugout alone, and has then made a triple sub at the break.

Kane, Styles and Morris are on and Palmer, Williams and Chaplin have made way.

Hopefully we can keep the momentum of the first-half rolling.

Sliding into lead (featuring Dom Solanke!)

Well, the longer ball game plan is working extremely well! (1000th mention of it already, sorry!)

We fell behind but the lads have stuck with and shown good character and poise to retake the lead with two good finishes from Danjuma and Solanke.

Right, my hands are freezing, see you back here in about 15 minutes!

Great finish!!!

We are ahead in first-half injury time!

Pearson sets Danjuma on his way on the left and the winger plays a great ball across the face of goal where Stanislas and Solanke are waiting!

It looks like for a minute they're going to get in each other's way, but Solanke slid to make the finish look easy in the box!

Danjuma's pass was very, very classy too to make the chance.

Get in!!

From that tackle...

Smith isn't able to continue.

It's a real shame as he's been excellent, both offensively and defensively.

But what a replacement in the form of Jack Stacey to come in and his place.

Unfortunately some of the Barnsley bench had some less than complimentary words for him to when he came off. Shame.

Another yellow...

This time for Mads Andersen.

He steams into a late tackle on Smith, as we looked to have a really good break going.

But he's booked, its a clear and deserved yellow.

A little bit of behind the scenes info for you, Andersen was the player who, in the game at Oakwell, broke our tripod!

He made a sliding tackle and clattered our tripod, he also took our cameraman with him!

But he's been booked here more importantly and the likes of Danjuma, Stanislas and Solanke should be looking to run at him now he's been booked.

We're still on top...

We've been the better team for the entire half, and since the equaliser we are still trying to to utilise that quick long ball to try and get in behind Barnsley's high line.

I probably sound like a broken record, but it is clearly the basis of the gameplan here this afternoon!

There haven't been any major chances though since the goal - and it hasn't changed Barnsley's approach either, they're still pressing our defence ferociously.

Stanislas plays an absolutely outrageous switch to Smith in the area on the right-hand side on the full-back is completely unmarked!

He sets up Lerma in the box who does well to keep his shot down, it hits a Barnsley man and flies just wide for a corner!

That was so close, the pass from Stanislas was special to start the move!

The equaliser!

What a save!

Much better from us!

Danjuma drives at his man on the left-hand side and does well to pick out Kelly on the edge of the box.

Lerma then comes into play and dinks a superb ball over the top to Stanislas on the right and he hits a superb volley first time!

But it's met by a sensational save by Collins, who does just enough to tip it onto the bar.

That is so, so close, but the move as a whole was much sharper from us.

The game's first yellow...

Begovic catches a long ball and he is ready to hurl another throw up the pitch on the counter attack!

Just as he releases the ball, Woodrow cynically comes across and blocks him.

Begovic hits the deck as it's quite a barge, it's a definite yellow card for a professional foul.

A proper counter attack!!!

We are level!!

And it is a MONSTER throw from Begovic that gets us going!

Barnsley swing a cross in and the 'keeper claims it so well. He hurls a throw into the Barnsley half, it's a huge sling of the arm, to Stanislas.

Stanislas megged the defender and then got in the area, he squared it to Danjuma in the box and he just couldn't miss.

The long ball - it's worked for us! One each!

We're a goal down...

It's against the run of play and it's from a set piece.

A corner came in from the left-hand side and it was glanced on at the near post.

The ball looped to the back-post area where Helik was there to tap in.

It's a soft one for us to concede here after a positive start.

GOAL for Barnsley.

Michal Helik scores.

Ten minutes played...

It's been bright with a very different style of play to normal.

We have lots of opportunities to capitalise on the switch with the team playing so high.

In particular, Smith has got into some really good areas on the right-hand side, he's not afraid to push forward as ever, but with Barnsley's high line, he's been free and in if the lads on the other side have spotted the switch.

The longer ball is working!

We are almost trying to match Barnsley at their own game.

The longer balls from the defenders are working and the front four are staying very high.

Solanke has just latched onto one down the left-hand side and tried to cross to the unmarked Long in the middle, but the 'keeper was there to catch it.

We haven't scored but the gameplan and execution are solid so far.

Early tactical pointer....

It looks like we're trying to counter Barnsley's extremely high line with Danjuma, Stanislas, Solanke and Long all playing on the shoulder of the last Barnsley men.

We're clearly trying to get in behind them early on, a few long balls have caused Barnsley problems early on.

Hopefully it can yield some results for the frontmen!

We are underway...

The weather has turned horrendously, the rain is horrible here!

But Danjuma kicks us off and we'll attack the Ted MacDougall South Stand to get this one going.

We'll keep you updated, let's go!

Stay strong, Lew!

15 minutes to go... get your streaming pass now!!

One to watch...

Well, Doug O’Kane from the Barnsley Chronicle kindly did the research for us!

He gave a glowing reference for one Tykes player in particular...

"Their best player is the captain Alex Mowatt, in my opinion. He made his 150th appearance for the club on Wednesday and has six goals – mainly long-range stunners – and six assists from central midfield this season.

"With Romal Palmer playing a more defensive role alongside him, he can drift out to the flanks to put crosses in and also break forward on the attack."

A great touch!

The lads will be wearing t-shirts for Lewis Cook in the warm up today - everyone at the club is with you Lewis!

A real touch of class, we don't think Lewis knew about the shirts, so here you go Cooky!

A team in huge form travel south...

Barnsley have arguably been the standout team in the entire division since we beat them 4-0 at their place back in December.

They arrive at Vitality Stadium having not lost in the league for ten games, a sequence which included a club record seven wins in succession.

Valerien Ismael’s team are now above us and in the play-off places thanks to impressive wins over Brentford, Blackburn, Bristol City, Stoke, Millwall, QPR and Birmingham.

They've got the formula exactly right for the league, maintaining momentum.

It will be a tough challenge for us this afternoon for sure against arguably the country's form team.

Why wouldn't you want to watch our last meeting again?

Barnsley's team...

The team is here!

We've made one change from our draw with Preston last weekend.

Lewis Cook misses out, and is replaced in the starting XI by Shane Long.

It looks like it'll be 4-4-2 with Long and Solanke up front and Stanislas and Danjuma wide, but we could well be wrong!

Cherries XI: Begovic; Smith, Carter-Vickers, S. Cook (C), Kelly; Stanislas, Pearson, Lerma, Danjuma; Solanke, Long.

The squad are in the building!

Team news...

We'll get the news straight from the dressing room at 2pm, but the Cherries will definitely be without Lewis Cook.

If you've missed the sad news this week, Cook has unfortunately ruptured the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee for the second time in his career.

It'll be a lengthy recovery process but with his work ethic and determination, we're sure he'll be back in the right timeframe.

Elsewhere, David Brooks - who's been missing with an ankle injury - will be back after the international break

Apart from that, we look good quite healthy!

It's sunny here on the south coast as AFC Bournemouth take on Barnsley in a big game here at Vitality Stadium.
