Levante up next, at 7pm on Friday

Thanks for tuning in, our pre-season feels well and truly under way now.

We'll have plenty more to come every day from la Manga as the Cherries' training camp continues.

And then next Friday at 7pm (UK time) the pre-season games continue as our camp comes to an close with a match against another La Liga side in Levante.

We look forward to seeing you again then!

90'

FULL TIME: AFC Bournemouth 1 - 1 Sevilla

That bubbled up into a very competitive game as the minutes wore on, the Cherries more than worthy of their draw.

Cherries fans may well argue that on balance we deserved more than a tie, taking twice as many shots through the 90 minutes, but in the grander scheme that doesn't matter as much as the competitiveness of this enjoyable pre-season opener.

89'

Final chance for the CHerries

Corchia goes in the book for Sevilla after a foul on Fraser near the byline.

Arter takes low, onto the foot of Gosling, but his shot is blocked.

Wee Man then gets booked for stopping the Sevilla break, this second half has been particularly feisty.

84'

Defoe on the chase

A Sevilla attack breaks down and as the ball is played long and a full-flow Defoe is sniffing the danger.

He gets to the ball 35 yards from goal ahead of the haring 'keeper but his first-time finish hits the body of the fortunate Vaclik coming well out of his area.

Pugh goes for 50-yard glory with the loose ball, but skids it well off target.

80'

Boruc makes a comfortable save

The big Pole in our goal hasn't been overly used in this second half, but he has to catch a goalwards header from a corner there.

The ending here's got more intensity to it from both sides than you might expect from the first game of pre-season.

75'

"Vamos, vamos!"

Now, I know what that one means from the Sevilla bench.

Cherries win a corner and are looking the more likely in this second half. That said, you'd not discount our opponents with their pace on the counter.

70'

GOAL FOR AFC BOURNEMOUTH! SCORED BY JORDON IBE!

Lovely stuff, terrific from Ibe.

The winger was set free right on the right touchline and he opens his legs and is away in a flash.

Heading goalwards and into the box, Ibe sees 'keeper Vaclik's legs open and slides the ball through them.

That's 1-1 here in La Manga!

65'

Sevilla on the attack

Some good play from the Spanish side down the left, and had the attacker gone down as he rushed into the box the referee may have had a decision to make.

As it was, he didn't, and Arter steals in and gets the ball away.

63'

Mings off target

Pugh wins his side a corner and Fraser, playing as left full-back, delivers.

Mings leaps at the far post and wins his header, but always under it he can only direct his effort up and over.

59'

Two Cherries yellows

So you can get cautioned in this friendly then.

Sevilla break and Gosling trips his man racing past halfway and is booked.

Arter soon joins him in the referee's notebook, seemingly for his protestations.

55'

Defoe next to whistle wide

Ball into Defoe's feet, he gets it where he wants it in a flash just inside the box and fires low and marginally wide.

He and Arter scream for a penalty but the referee's not listening - and after holding his finger to his ear for a few seconds it appears the VAR gods concur.

52'

Cherries twice test with shots

First Pugh collects from the and swerves in an effort held by the 'keeper.

Moments later and Arter is in room to shoot and fires over, good chances coming our way now.

51'

Mings, more Mings...

...Almost all the way.

Pugh is providing support but Mings turns his man and speeds to the byline, along it and only some last-ditch defending, putting the ball behind for a corner, can stop Mings.

50'

"Keep that ball moving"

That's the shout from the English half of the dugout as the Cherries keep the ball ticking in midfield.

46'

The second half gets going

Defoe kicks us off, all 11 Cherries players who contested the first half now switched as the second starts.

B-Ake into the groove (sorry...)

Half time in La Manga

That's the first 45 minutes completed and there goes the whistle from the referee.

Plenty of positives for Bournemouth, who have had the lion's share of the chances so far, but trail to Ben Yedder's well-taken strike midway through the opening half.

42'

Wilson nets... But up goes the flag!

King on the surge again and he spots Wilson's run through the middle.

The ball is good the sharp finish is spot-on, but the offside flag is up.

VAR you shout! Yep, a quick look at the replay and despite Wilson's protests he is a yard offside and the initial call was the right one.

39'

Closer and closer!

How are we not level there?

The Cherries move forwards and it comes to Smith on the right, he slams in a ball that deflects into Wilson's path and he typically gets the shot in first time with a sixpence turn.

...Just wide with the 'keeper a spectator.

31'

Cherries on the push

This time Bournemouth come down the right and the overlapping Steve Cook finds Hyndman well with a good low centre.

The American's touch is excellent and frees up space to strike from eight yards, he shoots towards the near post but without the required power it's saved low by the 'keeper.

29'

Cherries almost hit back

King in among the action again, he's looked sharp so far, and the ball is worked to Brooks in the area, he gets a shot away and it's redirected just off target by the poaching Wilson.

The flag had gone up for offside, however. Wilson just a foot the wrong side of the defence.

23'

GOAL! Sevilla lead, Ben Yedder

It's been pretty even so far but our Spanish opponents have the lead.

All about France international Ben Yedder, he drove at the defence and as he entered the top of the area blasted home a smart low strike beyond Begovic and into the corner.

21'

Looking good in red and black

20'

Shot, blocked!

Good play down the left flank from King, he gets to the byline and pulls back for Brooks, eight yards out and ready to strike home.

A good covering defender spreads himself in front of our new man, and it's a corner instead.

Good move nonetheless.

18'

Wilson away? Not quite

The Cherries' backline play the ball among themselves before Begovic kicks long, Wilson reads the flight better than his marker Amadeu and looks to be able to run onto the ball bouncing forwards.

He's tugged back rather crudely however, and it's a free kick on halfway. Was this game competitive a yellow would likely have gone Amadeu's way too.

13'

Bubbling Brooks

Both teams looking comfortable in possession so far, and on a number of occasions new-man Brooks has been bright down the right flank; pace and the desire to push forwards already in evidence.

9'

Cherries on tour

There are about 800 seats in the stand here, and most of the seats are taken.

Thanks to all of you who have been able to get here today, including these supporters braving the sun ahead of kick-off.

3'

Sevilla first to attack

The play comes down the left and a Sevilla man is charging into the box.

He sways to his left as he looks to get the shot in, but Ake covers well and snuffs out the danger, at the cost of a corner.

Our pre-season is up and running!

A quick switch of ends following the coin toss, and it's Sevilla who get tonight's match going.

The temperature's still up in the mid to upper 20s here, so a top test against a top team to get pre-season started.

Here come the players

Steve Cook, pendant in hand, leads out the Cherries as the two sides emerge from the corner down below us.

Bournemouth in their shiny new red-and-black home kit for tonight's game...

...On sale now, if you'll forgive the quick plug.

Gimme a V...!

As well as all the pre-season on-field action to report on, tonight we're also welcoming VAR for the fixture.

A first for an AFC Bournemouth match.

Plenty of fans here to see the Cherries!
