A heartbreaking defeat...

It was coming, but it still hurts.

A stoppage time goal from Rashford means that having defended well for the entire half, we go away without a point to show for our efforts.

They probably deserved it on the run of play, but after a fabulous start where Callum Wilson handed us the early lead, it wasn't enough.

The players couldn't have given anymore and that's a minimum of course, but they really did put in a shift.

Unfortunate, but we go again next week - plenty of encouragement to take from that.

90'

Devastating for us...

A cross from Pogba is dinked in and Rashford is able to take a touch and divert it home.

So cruel as we had defended so well, that's surely a late defeat for us...

90'

GOAL for Man United.

Rashford has surely won it for them.

90'

Four minutes added on...

Stanislas makes way for Andrew Surman.

Hopefully another defensive move that can secure us a point!

You can feel the tension around the ground!

88'

Save by Begovic!

A crucial gfoot!

Lingard got played in by Herrera and he hit it low in the area, but Begovic is equal to it with a strong foot!

Crucial save again...

87'

This is so tense...

We've got plenty of men behind the ball and Wilson, Brooks and Ibe are working hard to keep it sticking up top when we clear.

All Man United here still.

85'

The fans are really willing us on here...

We've defended so well, it's been a half of constant pressure.

Five minutes to go though, can we hang on!???

The lads have put their everything into this!

82'

Smith and Young both booked...

Young clips SMith off the ball and is booked.

But Smith slapped the ball out of Young's hands in sheer frustration and is also booked.

Not good for us to have Smithy on a yellow!

81'

Chance for us!!

What a moment that was for us!

A swift break sees Brooks get free in the area and he smashes a left-footer unmarked and in on goal straight at De Gea!

A really good opportunity - and considering the state of the game at the moment!

80'

Still hanging on...

We had a succession of corners a moment ago, but we're still on the backfoot.

We are defending so stoutly though at the moment - ten minutes to go for us to hang on!

75'

Ake is everywhere!

72'

Second change for us...

Jordon Ibe comes on for Fraser.

Fraser looks knackered, he;s put in so much work at both ends of the pitch.

Hopefully Ibe can give us some energy, he's coming on on this left-hand side, Stanislas will play centrally and Brooks wide right.

68'

The sub comes...

It's Gosling to come on for Lewis Cook.

We had to do something in an attempt to stop the Man United pressure.

Hopefully Gosling's energy can help us in the middle of the park as we continue to dig in.

66'

Just wide from Herrera...

Close.

Herrera gets the ball on the edge of the box and curls a superb effort with his left that flies just wide.

It looked in from here, the boss is looking to change it now as we can't get out. Looks like Gosling will be coming on.

65'

HOW HAS THAT STAYED OUT!!!

Wow! We are so lucky not to be behind!

Young hits a free-kick, it comes off the bar and bounces perfectly for Rashford who should score. SOMEHOW, Ake throws himself at it to block.

What a block!

The rebound then falls perfectly to Pogba who somehow misses and it's off the line by Brooks.

Genuinely, HOW has it not gone in, brilliant for us though!!

The tide is showing no signs of turning as Wilson gets a yellow card for fouling Lindelof high up the pitch in the aftermath.

63'

Stanislas booked...

Fairly.

Young had driven forward in a threatening position, but Stanislas clipped him before he could cross or shoot.

Probably a good foul in all honesty!

59'

Save by Begovic...

A direct free-kick is flicked on by Smalling into the middle, Sanchez gets there first and forces Begovic to parry over with a header from eight-yards.

We're under so much pressure right now, I know that doesn't make for good reading!

58'

Digging in at the moment...

57'

Changes and a yellow...

Lerma goes into the book for a late foul on Ander Herrera.

Herrera was moments ago part of a double change, him and Marcus Rashford have come on for Mata and Fred.

United looking to exploit their good spell thus far, we're on the back foot.

56'

We can't keep the ball at the moment...

Man United well on top. We're pinned in our own half and can't get out at the moment, the ball isn't sticking.

Hopefully we can weather this storm here.

55'

Two huge saves from Begovic...

The first, Martial steams through one on one but Begovic lunges on the edge of the box and just gets a little touch to stop the ball going past him!

That was a massive save alone, but then seconds later, Shaw goes through on goal and looks set to bury it!

But again, Begovic to the rescue with another superb stop, throwing himself at Shaw to block!

Two saves of the highest order to keep us level...

53'

Shaw is booked...

The referee indicates it's for three offences.

The crowd cheer that sarcastically!

52'

Ake heads wide!

A good delivery from Fraser is quite flat - Ake, who is up for the corner, just beats his man to the ball but he nods it low and wide.

We're putting the United defence under pressure and they don't look comfortable!

49'

Big chance!!!

Unlucky!

Smith and Fraser work it so well down the left! They patiently draw United defenders in before Fraser steams past Smalling!

He drills in a low one, which Brooks, six-yards out, backheels - it isn't firm contact but De Gea is able to get down low to catch!

Good chance - a good start to the half here.

HT

Looking for a second...

46'

Back underway...

Attacking the end where so many historic goals have been scored.

The Steve Fletcher Vitality Main Stand - come on lads!!

HT

HALF TIME

We're level at the break.

A really good entertaining half here!

Wilson got us off to a flyer and we could have had a second as we started the first half an hour on fire.

Martial found an equaliser, despite that though we've had the better of it so far.

We'll be back in 15 minutes after a drink and a bite to eat - it should be another top half of football.

44'

What a block...

Man United counter well and the ball drops kindly for Sanchez on the edge.

He looks to curl one into the far corner, but Steve Cook chucks himself at the ball to block extremely well, it looked really threatening but Cook was able to put his body on the line to win it.

42'

Save!!

A great counter!

Stanislas with another cutting edge pass! Fraser steams onto the through ball and lashes one towards the near post, De Gea is equal to it and got down sharply to tip it away!

Stanislas' passing has been brilliant today, his weight of pass is exceptional.

Better from us.

38'

Mata fires wide...

A long direct ball in fromAshley Young finds Sanchez, who nods it down to Mata.

He drives inside onto his favoured left-foot, but smashes a low one wide at the near post.

Probably half a chance, but a little period of uncertainty for us after the goal., We do look vulnerable at the moment.

37'

It should be a definite yellow card for Luke Shaw...

Brooks skins him and Shaw just pulls him down.

A tactical foul of course, but the referee doesn't book Shaw.

Well, it's safe to say the fans aren't happy about that!

36'

Martial pokes in...

It feels like a soft goal.

But Sanchez gets a yard down the right and plays a clever cut back and Martial is there to steam it in.

All square, United have been better these past five minutes or so.

35'

GOAL for United.

Martial scores for the fourth Premier League game in a row.

34'

Chance for United...

Martial skips down the left and picks out the perfect pull back for Fred who is unmarked and has the whole goal to aim for.

He miscues his effort which is sidefooted, it comes off Ake and is cleared to safety.

A glimpse at goal for United - a good one too.

30'

A good half hour...

We're still relentless going forward, the manager wouldn't want it any other way.

But United have weathered the storm it seems in these last couple of minutes.

We do look the more likely and we look very sharp, but you know United will have a spell in this game at some point.

A second goal would be lovely - easier said than done though!

24'

A well deserved lead so far...

22'

Unlucky!

We're creating so much!

Francis does so so well to win the ball on the right and plays in Wilson.

Wilson feeds it back to Francis who cut backs a clever pass to Stanislas on the edge.

He has plenty of time but tries to curl it first time, it's central and easy for De Gea.

Stanislas had so much time - he probably didn't expect to have that space.

Another good chance though - encouraging!

19'

Smithy goes close!

He didn't mean to though!

Smith takes down a sensational crossfield pass from Steve Cook, and whips in a low cross.

United think they have it covered as none of our men attack it, but it landed just an inch past the far post!

That is so close!

17'

Thanks for the pass Junior!

14'

What a start!

Another decent opening for us!

Stanislas has been so clever, peeling off the United midfield into some really dangerous areas!

He threads a ball through for Wilson who is driven wide by Victor Lindelof, instead of shooting he looks to square to Brooks, who heads narrowly over.

Brooks, Fraser, Stanislas and Wilson are wreaking havoc here!!

12'

WHAT A GOAL!

The build up play for that goal is simply sensational!

Lewis Cook threads a sublime ball through the Man United back line for Stanislas out wide, who'd made a brilliant run.

His first time low cross is absolutely inch perfect for Wilson in the middle who taps in from close range!

Absolutely top top drawer - a lovely goal and FULLY DESERVED!!!!

11'

GOALLLLLLLLLLLLLL!

CALLUM WILSON'S 50TH GOAL FOR THE CLUB!!!!!!!!!!
12'

Should be 1-0!

Stanislas!!!

Adam Smith steams out wide and squares for Stanislas who has the whole goal to aim for!

He's ten-yards out, but his effort is blocked with the whole goal gaping! Glorious opening - we're well on top and deserve an opener!!

11'

Another really good chance!

Wilson!

A cross by Fraser is whipped in and Wilson gets beyond his man to poke it - De Gea does really well to save!

It's a tough one for Wilson, but De Gea did well!

10'

We've started pretty well!

It's been pretty end to end with Anthony Martial shooting wide and the front three of Fraser, Brooks and Wilson causing problems!

It's a good game so far, we're not quite on top as both teams are enjoying good moments.

It's only ten minutes in but this one could be a cracker!

03'

What a chance!!!

Ryan Fraser clean through!!!

He could square it but opts to go alone - it's a great touch by him to steam past the Man United defence and he drives into the area!

He takes it left-footed and drills it low, but David De Gea manages to save!

Huge chance early on for us - let's hope we don't rue that one!

Positive that we were able to slice them wide open though...

01'

Let's go!!

Alexis Sanchez kicks off.

They're in pink and we're of course in red and black, attacking the Ted MacDougall Colmar Construction South Stand.

Come on lads let's go!!

0'

Impeccably observed...

It's our closest home Premier League game to Remembrance Day and it's a well observed minute's silence for that and of course the tragic accident last weekend involving everyone at Leicester City.

12:11

Eddie is looking forward to it!

In his compulsory pre-match interview, the manager is buoyant ahead of this one.

"We believe in ourselves.

"We're confident and in a great place but we have to perform. And what a better place to do it than here, today. We've prepared well and are looking forward to it."

We're all looking forward to it alongside you gaffer!

12:02

Head to head...

We've reeled off loads of good stats that make us look class, but this post may be the one not to look at if your an optimistic Cherry!

We won our first Premier League game against the Red Devils in 2015 but since then, we are winless against them - losing four of the last five.

Unired have won on their last two trips here and have scored five times, conceding just once to us at Vitality Stadium.

But the records are there to be altered!

11:44

Ready!

11:42

One to watch...

Anthony Martial is on a hot streak heading into this one.

He could score in four consecutive Premier League games for the first time if he continues his fine form this afternoon.

The French frontman has netted four goals in total in his last three top-flight appearances, we're not sure if he's playing out wide or as a striker though.

Either way, he's one to watch today amongst United's wealth of attacking talent.

11:34

No Lukaku for Man United...

We don't wish injury on anyone at all, but not seeing Romelu Lukaku in the squad isn't too bad for us!

He's scored six goals in his last three league appearances against us, and bagged in both matches against us last season.

So, here's their team for today...

De Gea; Young (C), Lindelof, Smalling, Shaw; Matic, Fred, Pogba; Mata, Sanchez; Martial.

11:30

Team news...

Stanislas starts!

Although the graphic looks more like a 4-4-2, that's probably because of spacing on Photoshop! A reminder that King isn't fit, but Francis has passed a fitness test!

But we expect a 4-4-1-1 as usual, with Stanislas out wide and Brooks behind Wilson up top.

Team in text: Begovic; Francis (C), S Cook, Ake, Smith; Stanislas, L Cook, Lerma, Fraser; Brooks; Wilson.

11:15

There could be a milestone for us today...

Our good form has been praised by the national media as we've taken 26 points from the last 36 on offer.

But something that would please the manager, is that we could keep four consecutive clean sheets for the first time ever in the top flight.

That defensive success had also lead us to some excellent home form, we've won four and drawn two of our last six league games at Vitality Stadium - the last defeat came against today's opponents back in April.

How good is it to reel off all these stats about us being class! Hopefully they continue to come!

10:59

Who remembers this one?

One of our finest Premier League moments ever happened against today's opponents.

We all felt the Harry Arter heartache, and he was given a memorable match as Junior Stanislas scored directly from a corner as well as Joshua King's netting the winner from a brilliant set play.

A massive game that set us on our way to survival in the 2015/16 season and an unforgettable moment.

Hopefully we can provide another game like that this afternoon!

10:45

Wilson on fire...

After another stellar display at Fulham last weekend, Callum Wilson will be hopeful of impressing the nation in front of the Sky Sports cameras.

He's been involved in nine goals this season now (five goals, four assists) - that's the most out of any Englishman this campaign.

Let's hope he has a good game and Gareth Southgate is keeping his eye out!

10:31

How are Man United heading into this one?

As it's been well documented in the national media, they've been in mixed form.

United have kept just one Premier League clean sheet this season - only Fulham have a poorer record for clean sheets.

They have let in 17 goals in their opening 10 league games, whereas at this stage last season, they had only conceded four.

The Red Devils have however, lost one of their last five Premier League games, winning two in that time.

They may have been written off by the media, but certainly not by our players and coaching staff.

10:16

Something to look out for...

Should they both play, the battle between Jefferson Lerma and Paul Pogba in the middle of the pitch looks mouthwatering.

It could also be a big individual scrap in terms of giving either team a foothold in the game - the Colombian has found his feet and also leads the way in the Premier League for winning possession inside the middle third of the pitch.

Lerma has won the ball 41 times in the middle in 616 minutes, that's the best ratio in the top flight. It could be key to thwarting Pogba today!

09:57

As for Man United...

Jose Mourinho has a few injuries to contend with himself.

Jesse Lingard, who made his comeback from injury as a late substitute against Everton last weekend, could be available from the start.

Skipper Antonio Valencia is still sidelined with a knee injury, while Marouane Fellaini and Diogo Dalot are also on the injury list.

Elsewhere, there's another call for Mourinho to make, he's not injured but Romelu Lukaku will be looking for a recall after he began last weekend's game on the bench.

09:48

Team news...

The manager has revealed that Joshua King is out again for this one.

King is disappointed at missing the game but is working hard on his rehab - it's the same ankle injury that kept him out last week.

Simon Francis is a doubt after tweaking his groin against Norwich City, so that means there could be a change of shape from the Fulham win if the skipper doesn't make it.

Junior Stanislas could come in for King and with David Brooks and Ryan Fraser in form too, the manager has a few selection headaches!

Team news straight from our dressing room will be announced at 11.30am.

09:07
