FULL TIME

One to forget for us.

A really disappointing defeat as Liverpool show touches of their world class talent to win 4-0.

Mo Salah scored a hat-trick and an own goal from Steve Cook see Liverpool winners here.

Thank you for following, we really appreciate it.

See you next week where hopefully we can put things right against Wolves.

Thanks again!

90'

Five minutes of added time...

Five more minutes to see if we can get a consolation.

Liverpool are clear and deserved winners here but lets see if we can at least get on the scoresheet.

82'

Substitution for us...

Junior Stanislas makes way for Tyrone Mings - while Diego Rico replaces Charlie Daniels.

We're now five at the back, with Mings on the left of the three central players, the same position he played at Man City.

Rico is straight in at left-back.

80'

Close from Daniels!

Almost a fabulous consolation!

He drills a sublime effort from 25-yards, it's hit superbly but it flies JUST over.

So close, really unfortunate.

77'

It's not great for us...

To be fair to Salah, he made it look easy.

He robbed the ball off Cook, took it round Begovic twice, dummied the defence and tapped into the net.

4-0 and surely game over - to be fair it's a great goal.

76'

GOAL for Liverpool.

Salah completes a hat-trick.

71'

Mousset has the ball in the net...

... but it's offside.

He absolutely smashed in a volley but it's been ruled out correctly.

The atmosphere from both sets of fans is quiet, obviously expected from our fans as we're 3-0 down.

Liverpool are just trying to see the game out now as we try to get something that could inspire a memorable comeback.

68'

Cook unfortunate...

It's a dangerous cross from Robertson, Cook has to get something on it but unfortunately for us he's touched it into his own net.

Unlucky, but it's 3-0 to Liverpool.

68'

GOAL for Liverpool.

An own goal by Steve Cook.

67'

Despite the score we're still working tirelessly...

65'

Brooks makes way...

Lys Mousset is on for Brooks.

It looks like Mousset with partner King and it looks like more of a 4-4-2 with Stanislas and Fraser wide.

Hopefully this can make something happen for us.

65'

Double sub for Liverpool...

Sadio Mane and Adam Lallana come off the bench.

Shaqiri makes way along with Naby Keita.

57'

Great tackle...

It could have been 3-0 but for Jefferson Lerma!

Liverpool counter on us and get the ball in the box, Robertson cleverly cuts it back and Salah is waiting for what looks a clear goal, but the slide tackle of Lerma had to be right and it was!

Phew.

55'

Fraser has looked menacing...

Shifted out to wide left after the goal, Fraser has looked lively on the left-hand side.

He's up against James Milner, while solid, isn't the quickest and in an unnatural position. It's allowed Daniels to drive on forward and cause the visitors more problems.

52'

Penalty appeal waved away!

Some really good build up play sees Daniels whip in a fantastic cross into a great area, King looks to get onto it from eight-yards and ALMOST gets a good touch at goal but Lee Mason runs away and no penalty.

Not sure if it was, but better again from us going forward.

47'

2-0 to the visitors...

A giveaway sees Salah get one v one with Ake, despite Steve Cook trying to take him out, the Egyptian takes a touch onto his left and smashes a low one through Ake's legs into the far corner.

A bit of a soft one, but it's 2-0 to Liverpool.

47'

GOAL for Liverpool

Salah again.

46'

The game resumes...

Let's go!

No changes for either side as Salah kicks off.

We'll attack the Steve Fletcher Vitality Main Stand this half, we've had plenty of famous goals down that end over the years... here's hoping to another one!

HT

HALF TIME

Well we grew into that.

Mo Salah's goal which was offside has given Liverpool the lead at a time when they deserved the opening goal.

But we've grown into it and are getting in good areas.

Still plenty of time for us - see you in 15 minutes!

38'

Go on then!

As another good piece of battling in the middle from Andrew Surman and Charlie Daniels win us another corner.

We look a lot sharper than we did earlier in the contest as the end of the half rolls on - we are threatening.

35'

A good period for us...

A succession of corners have forced Liverpool to do some defending - and it all started from a smart challenge by Brooks on Andrew Robertson.

We almost got an equaliser too, as a clever short one was eventually whipped in extremely high and it fell to Ake at the back stick.

He didn't have a Liverpool defender on him, but he slashed at a volley and mis-kicked it unfortunately - if he makes clean connection he could score there!

28'

Looking to get back in the game...

27'

Not to sound bitter...

But it is offside.

We've just seen a replay and he is offside.

But either way, it stands.

Firmino smashes a pop-shot from 25-yards, it swerves all over the place and Asmir Begovic has to parry but it's tipped to Salah who taps in.

0-1 down, a big effort needed now!

26'

GOAL for Liverpool.

Salah scores.

23'

SAVE by Alisson!

Better!!

A sublime reverse pass from Junior Stanislas slides open the Liverpool defence and David Brooks gets in behind!

He smashes one in the area and Alisson has to do well to claw it away at the near post!

Much, much better and a brilliant pass from Stanislas - that's got the crowd going!

19'

First real shot for us...

Joshua King makes it stick up top for the first time in the game really and he makes something happen for us.

He shrugs off his man, drives towards the area and lashes an effort which is dragged wide.

Unlucky, worth a go and that's the first real time the team have had possession in the final third. Good stuff!

16'

A tough start...

Liverpool are dictating play and we're struggling to retain the ball.

It's all coming from the visitors at the moment as we continue to look to counter.

But Liverpool haven't created anything too clear cut apart from that half-decent chance for Salah.

The fans are right behind the team though urging them on - in good voice here.

15'

Another yellow card...

This time it's Jefferson Lerma.

He put in a robust challenge on Fabinho, it was late and another definite yellow.

It's his sixth yellow of the campaign and again, he'll have to be wary now.

13'

Decent opportunity for Salah...

But it's wide.

He wriggles free of the defensive line and gets wide in the area. It's on his right foot but he lofts it over looking for a chip.

It was dangerous as he got in behind, but we did well to recover.

12'

Ake booked...

A yellow card for Nathan Ake, the first of the game.

Roberto Firmino picked up a loose ball and tried to thread it behind Ake, who outstretched his arm and touched the ball.

Definite yellow, his second of the campaign - he'll have to be careful now.

08'

Liverpool having plenty of the ball...

As ever they're looking for the speedy and clever runs of Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino, but we're standing strong and looking for bits on the counter attack.

Liverpool have enjoyed possession, but we're in good shape and they haven't pierced through us yet.

03'

Nice from Naby Keita...

He skins Simon Francis in his own half before nutmegging Jefferson Lerma in the middle.

A good piece of tricky as both sides try to suss each other out early doors here. Not a bad start from us.

01'

We're underway...

We kick off and will attack the Colmar Construction Ted MacDougall Stand in this first half.

Let's go lads! All the updates will be here, so don't click the X!

12:24

LET'S GO!

The teams are in the tunnel, we're looking forward to this one!

Another big one in the Premier League...

12:09

Head to head...

We've lost four of the six Premier League meetings with Liverpool, with the last game at Vitality Stadium ending up 4-0 to the Reds.

We have only beaten Liverpool once in any competition, that was our memorable win in December 2016 where we were 2-0 and 3-1 down, but Nathan Ake netted in stoppage time to hand us one of the league's greatest ever wins.

12:04

One to watch...

It's Roberto Firmino.

The Brazilian has scored seven goals this season, but in his last five Premier League games against Bournemouth, he's scored three times and set up two.

Hopefully he doesn't continue that run today!

11:45

Callum Wilson's absence explained...

11:43

500 for Milner...

No matter who you support, James Milner reaches a remarkable milestone for Liverpool today.

This will be his 500th Premier League appearance, which means he's now only the 13th player to reach that landmark.

11:30

The team is in...

The headline news is NO CALLUM WILSON.

We'll bring you an update as soon as we can on that.

So it's Joshua King playing as the number nine, with Junior Stanislas coming in.

We think it's a 4-4-1-1 as normal, but we guess it could go to five at the back with Fraser as a right-wing back.

Either way, here's the team!

Cherries XI: Begovic; Francis (C), S Cook, Ake, Daniels; Brooks, Surman, Lerma, Fraser; Brooks; King.

11:02

10:52

We're nearly at the 100 club...

We've loved playing at Vitality Stadium in the Premier League - and the goals have flowed in our four seasons so far.

But if we are to score twice today, we'll reach 100 Premier League home goals.

Something to tell your mates!

10:25

Injury news...

We're without Lewis Cook who faces up to nine months out after rupturing his ACL on Tuesday - Cook is having his operation today so all the best to him!

Dan Gosling remains absent with a knee injury that forced him to miss the Manchester City and Huddersfield games.

Liverpool don't have Dejan Lovren, Nathaniel Clyne and Joe Gomez - Gomez was injured on Wednesday suffering a lower leg fracture.

Sadio Mane is a major doubt because of a cut foot but Andy Robertson returns.

Full team news announced at 11.30am.

09:42

As for Liverpool...

The Reds are like a runaway train at the moment.

Today they're looking for a fifth consecutive win in the Premier League.

On top of that, Jurgen Klopp's side are unbeaten in 16 Premier League matches  and could equal their club record of 17 consecutive fixtures unbeaten, set in 2008.

And EVEN MORE they are unbeaten away from home in the league this season, winning six and drawing two.

Some stats, but records are there to be broken!

09:29

How are we looking?

We ended a run of four straight defeats on Tuesday with our win against Huddersfield.

It was hard fought and Huddersfield did have all of the play, but the manager was delighted that we found a way to win despite playing poorly.

The win at Huddersfield also saw Callum Wilson and Ryan Fraser both score and those two could be crucial today.

Ten of our last 11 Premier League goals have been scored or assisted by Wilson or Fraser... let's hope for more of the same today!

08:42

An early start...

Welcome to today's matchday blog as we look to shock one of the big boys in the Premier League at Vitality Stadium!

It's an early kick-off here as we host Liverpool, looking to make it back-to-back Premier League wins.

As ever, we'll have all the action covered, not only with these text updates, but with live audio commentary from the heart of the press box.

It should be a good one, let's go!
