FULL TIME

Another game, another comeback.

From 2-0 down, we've managed to get a point out of it - that's a good result in anyone's book!

We'll bring you all the reaction to another pulsating Premier League game at Vitality Stadium on afcb.co.uk/

Thank you for following, we'll see you soon!

91'

90: A tight finish...

It LOOKS like being a draw...

King has just made way for Lys Mousset with the dying embers left.

91'

90: We're back in play...

A really long stoppabge as Michael Keane goes off on a stretcher.

We hope he is well and it's not too serious.

Kurt Zouma is on and we're back in play.

91'

90: Added time...

SIX minutes of added time here!

Two Everton players have gone down in the box and it's a clash of heads.

So there will be longer than six minutes added on here.

91'

89: Close!!

A really good cross by Fraser! He dinks it and an Everton player has to head it away!

It falls to Gosling who smashes a volley narrowly over - it's well struck!

56'

85: Five minutes to go...

We're going for it here!

56'

82: CHANCE!!!

Another Callum header!

A good set play comes in and Wilson is AGAIN free at the near post and he slams a header JUST wide!

That is so close!

56'

80: WE ARE LEVEL!!!

YES!

A corner comes into the box and Wilson gets across the front post to get a bullet header on it!

It's a sublime header that deserves to go in but it hits the inside of the post - and it rebounds to Ake who bundles it home!

GET IN THERE!!!

56'

GOALLLLLLLL!

NATHAN AKEEEEE!!!

56'

76: Sub for us...

Lewis Cook is on to a great reception.

He comes on for Andrew Surman - Steve Cook now has the armband.

That penalty has shifted the atmosphere - game on now!

56'

GOALLLL!

KING DISPATCHES IT INTO THE BOTTOM RIGHT!

GAME ON NOW!!

56'

74: Clear penalty!

King whips in a great ball for Wilson and it looks like he's going to head it but it barged over by Baines!

Lee Probert took his time but pointed to the spot.

King to step up...

56'

PENALTY!

TO US!!

56'

72: Save by Pickford!

Lovely strike!

We're enjoying a bit of a spell in Everton's half, the ball comes to Fraser 20-yards out.

He slices a brilliant half-volley with his left foot, it's great technique but Pickford is able to punch it away!

56'

68: What a chance!!!

What a pass by Joshua King!

Inside his own half, he sprays one which releases Wilson in behind Holgate!

He hounds down on goal, but his effort is very central and Pickford punches it away!

Another brilliant chance for us!

56'

64: Keane's header makes it 2-0.

We get caught out by a quick free-kick, Sigurdsson whips it across goal and Keane towers to meet it, nodding it downwards and into the net.

2-0 here - not good.

56'

GOAL for Everton.

2-0, Michael Keane scores.

56'

64: First sub for us...

Brooks makes way - he's been quieter in this second-half but still another promising performance.

He is replaced by Jordon Ibe, his first minutes of the Premier League season.

It looks like Fraser will play at right-back with Ibe in front.

56'

62: Save by Begovic!

A good one from Begovic!

Baines curls a free-kick from 20-yards and it's going in, but for Begovic's palm outstretched.

Really good stop.

56'

61: Smith is given a straight red...

A long punt from Pickford releases Walcott on the right-hand side.

He gets the wrong side of Smith and he's in on goal - there's a small tangle and Walcott goes down.

Lee Probert has no hesitation, straight red as the last man.

56'

RED CARD!

ADAM SMITH IS OFF.

56'

59: Chance!

Patient build up.

We zip the ball the ball around on the left-hand side and it eventually finds Brooks in the area.

He drills one, not sure if it's a cross or a shot, but it almost breaks for Wilson and it's out for a corner!

56'

56: We concede...

It's a simple ball for Walcott down the right and his pace gets him behind the defence.

He's out wide, but he gets in the area at an angle and blasts a low one at the near post.

It's a firm strike and flies into the bottom corner at the near side.

After a positive start, the ten men are ahead.

46'

GOAL for Everton.

Theo Walcott scores.

46'

54: Yellow card...

We look to start a counter attack as Everton pass a stray ball in midfield.

Fraser gets on the half-way line and is about to sprint away, but Sigurdsson pulls him back, professional foul.

Definite yellow.

46'

50: Started on top...

Everton digging in here.

We're having plenty of the ball in the attacking third, but we're having trouble breaking that defensive bank.

We'll have to be patient in getting a breakthrough, but plenty of the ball so far this half.

46'

46: Back underway...

Brooks kicks us off as we attack the Vitality Steve Fletcher Main Stand.

A big second half awaits, a huge chance to make it nine from nine.

Come on lads!

46'

HALF TIME

Well, the red card is the big talking point.

Richarlison went to headbutt, or at least put his head to Adam Smith, and is red carded at the back end of the half.

But apart from that, Callum Wilson's big chance was the best of the game after 16 minutes, so we've had the better of it, hopefully we can kick on with the extra man in the second-half!

46'

40: The initiative is with us...

Everton are looking to get to half-time here with ten men.

It's all us at the moment, hopefully we can turn it into the advantage!

Everton are looking to get to half-time here with ten men.

It's all us at the moment, hopefully we can turn it into the advantage!

46'

36: Well that is silly!

The ball is out of play and Smith and Richarlison have words, probably about an earlier foul.

But the Brazilian draws his head into Smith and tries to headbutt him (probably more of a headflick!)

But he is sent off! Good for us of course, hopefully we can take the initiative now!

RED CARD!

RICHARLISON IS OFF!

6'

35: Ten minutes to the break...

We were having a really good spell but the game has calmed down now.

Everton trying to work it to their full-backs to cross the ball into the box.

They haven't had a clear chance yet, unlike Wilson's earlier for us.

6'

Gutted to miss that chance earlier!

6'

28: That relationship...

Richarlison steams through on the right-hand side, but both Smith and Brooks catch up with him gaining 20-yards on him, with Brooks making the tackle.

It's not all about going forward with these pair!

Brilliant defending to thwart an attack of real intent.

6'

22: Save!

We're playing really well!

Some sustained pressure on Everton's penalty area, started by a surging run from Fraser, eventually sees King stretch to a loose ball and force Pickford to get down low to make a save.

Fraser started that move with an excellent run, he sucked in three players before playing the pass - terrific stuff!

6'

19: Chance!

Another good bit of play!

Wilson gives it to Brooks who dinks a lovely ball to the back-post.

King is there waiting but he nods it over - it was a difficult chance!

But we're back on the front foot after a small spell of Everton having the ball.

Turning into a good game!

6'

16: HUGE CHANCE!!!

GREAT CHANCE FOR WILSON!!!

We counter really well and Smith drives down the right, giving it to Ryan Fraser on the edge of the box.

He squares it to Callum Wilson at the back-post in acres of space. It looks a certain goal, but Wilson took it first time and blazed it over!

A glorious opportunity for Wilson - but really good play by us!

6'

10: Still not much happening...

We're not just being lazy here guys!

Everton are starting to have more of the ball, while we keep looking to get direct balls in behind Leighton Baines' side of the pitch.

Still goalless.

6'

05: Quite an even start...

Not much between the two teams so far.

Both sets of fans are helping to create a really good atmosphere.

Adam Smith looks lively with David Brooks on this side - they're forming a lovely partnership wide for us.

Apart from that, no chances for either team.

15:00

01: We're underway...

Tom Davies kicks us off and we'll attack the Ted MacDougall Vitality South Stand as ever in the opening 45.

Everton are in their white and blue kit, which they unveiled yesterday - it goes without saying we're in red and black.

14:58

Let's do this!

The teams are out!

Mike Botto is making his way around the ground to get the crowd going...

The lads look up for it as they go into a huddle, come on lads!

14:45

A goal for Kingy today?

Obviously we hope so - but he's just scored a brilliant one in the warm up!

20-yards out, casually curls it into the top corner!

Hopefully a sign of things to come...

14:31

The comeback kings...

Will we strike again?

It's never nice coming from behind, but it's been our staple of the past two seasons.

We have earned a Premier League-high 24 points from losing positions since the beginning of last season.

Something to bear in mind for your coupons! (Gamble responsibly!)

14:17

The manager explains the team...

The manager and a player always have to do a pre-match interview prior to the game.

Eddie was asked about keeping it unchanged and he had this to say...

"We always pick our team based on tactically what we want for each match, and this is the right team for today.

"We have had a good start to the season but Everton are a top team with a very good manager, we have to respect them."

14:12

Head to head...

Well, Everton haven't won here in the Premier League.

The last three games have been the memorable 3-3, along with 2-1 and 1-0 wins.

However, we have won just two of the previous 11 meetings - a record to be shifted today!
14:07

One to watch...

It's the name on everyone's lips at the moment in regards to Everton...

Richarlison.

The Brazilian has been in great form and he could become only the second player to score in each of his first three Premier League appearances for the Toffees.

The other was Romelu Lukaku.

14:02

TEAM NEWS IS IN!!

No changes!

We did say earlier, you simply can't change a winning formula if you're going well!

One addition however, it's a Vitality Stadium welcome for Jefferson Lerma, who makes the substitutes bench.

TEAM: Begovic; Smith, S Cook, Ake, Daniels; Brooks, Surman, Gosling, Fraser; King, Wilson.

13:30

A good watch!

13:17

Team news...

Will we see Jefferson Lerma today?

The manager was quite coy again in his press conference about the Colombia, telling us 'wait and see.'

Tease! Elsewhere, Junior Stanislas and Kyle Taylor are still out - and we all know Eddie doesn't regularly change a winning formula.

Team news straight from the dressing room at 2pm.

13:13

One thing to expect today...

GOALS!

Every Premier League game we've played Everton in, (six of them), have produced 25 goals.

That's massive - hopefully some more for us today!

12:50

What to expect from Everton?

Everton have remained unbeaten after their opening two league fixtures for the seventh consecutive season - that's some record!

But away from home, the Toffees haven't had the best record, winning only three of their last 28 Premier League away matches.

Expect them to be robust from set plays though against us this afternoon - they've scored a joint-high three goals from set pieces in the league this campaign.

A good test!

12:03

We're on a roll...

Two wins from two heading into this one, with the manner of the victories also a boost.

We've also won four consecutive Premier League games which is a new club record and we're looking sharp!

Another good stat could be achieved today, we're aiming to win our opening three matches of the season for just the sixth time in our history. We've never managed it in the top two tiers.

11:59

It's match three!

Welcome to Vitality Stadium for our third Premier League game of the season, it's going quick already!

Everton make the trip to the south coast today, with kick-off at 3pm.

As always, we'll provide the live commentary stream on afcbTV - click LISTEN LIVE to get it for free. Join us!
