Two goals in two minutes, one at each end, result in a 1-1 draw at London Stadium.

Ryan Fraser smashed the Cherries into a lead with under 20 minutes to go, with the Scot converting first time from substitute Junior Stanislas' excellent through ball.

Within seconds, however, the hosts were level as the ball bobbled to Javier Hernandez who scrambled home.

The two teams both searched for a late winner in an open finale, though neither was able to turn their point gained into three.

The Cherries were unchanged from last Sunday's Premier League win over Arsenal, with the away side employing a back three again at London Stadium.

The Hammers were quickly out of the blocks in the driving afternoon rain, Aaron Cresswell taking aim from 25 yards but seeing his shot skid a yard wide of Asmir Begovic's goal.

Home skipper Mark Noble soon sent a dipping volley onto the room of the net, before Begovic produced a stunning save to divert Marko Arnautovic's close-range shot over the bar.

The visitors soon looked to calm the match down, and created their first chance just past 20 minutes when Fraser's freekick found it's way to Simon Francis at the back post. The defender drove an effort goalwards with Adrian getting the ball away with a stretched leg.

The game increasingly even a corner from the training ground saw the ball rolled out to Lewis Cook on the edge of the box, the midfielder struck first time with his shot spinning away and only just wide of the far upright.

Dan Gosling struck a volley well over from just outside the area, the first half ending goalless.

The second period took its time to get started in terms of attacking play, though Begovic did well to tip a cross away from Manuel Lanzini looking to poach at the back post.

Past the hour Arnautovic broke through from a slick ball over the top, though Steve Cook tracked back and tussled to manfully snuff out the danger.

The game appeared to be idling towards its conclusion, only to be rocked by two goals within a heartbeat of one another.

First Fraser converted with authority as he drove home substitute Stanislas' ball first time from a difficult angle inside the box.

The visiting joy was short-lived though, as straight from kick-off Angelo Ogbonna's hopeful long ball was flicked on and rebounded into the path of Hernandez, recently off the bench, who stabbed home.

Joshua King joined Stanislas on the pitch, the two attackers making the injury returns in the capital. And King was soon into the action though couldn't get enough on an angled effort to beat Adrian at his near post.

Into the five minutes of additional time and space was opening up for both teams in attack, the Cherries looking the more likely to snatch a dramatic winner, notably when Stanislas burst from his own half, though none came with the sides taking a point each from the encounter.
