FULL TIME

A gutsy effort, but we've been undone by Spurs with three second half goals.

All the reaction to follow on afcb.co.uk, thanks to all who have followed our updates today!

A big one against West Bromwich Albion next week...

90: Aurier nods in...

Kieran Trippier gets to the byline and floats in a hopeful cross, Begovic tips it away and Aurier is there at the back post to nod it in.

4-1.

GOAL for Spurs.

Serge Aurier scores.

88: Son scores...

We give away a free kick and Spurs punish us.

Son goes through one on one and rounds Begovic to score.

GOAL for Spurs.

Son scores again.

84: GOAL disallowed!

WE HAVE IT IN THE NET! The linesman doesn't flag though... But Mike Dean penalises Wilson for a push on Sanchez after he smashed it into the net!

We're ramping up the pressure!

80: Into the final ten minutes we go...

76: Our final change...

We're going to three at the back.

Goso was passed a note from the manager and is dictating the play!

Jermain Defoe comes on for Stanislas.

74: Close!

Francis again!

He whacks one at the far stick 25-yards out and it whizzes narrowly over Lloris' bar!

Close!

67: Double sub for us...

Joshua King and Jordon Ibe come on.

They replace Mousset and Charlie Daniels - which means that Adam Smith switches to left back and Ibe will go out wide right.

Attacking changes - Harry Arter was stripped and ready just before the goal went in.

62: Son scores...

He completely miss hit it, but unfortunately it has been coming.

Alli crosses a high one which reaches Son, he volleyed it into the ground it flies over Begovic and into the net. A bit of luck, but they have been on top.

GOAL for Spurs.

Son scores.

61: Gosling booked...

He made contact with Rose who went down and Mike Dean instantly got the card out.

Gos has been everywhere today.

58: Chance for us!

Stanislas does really well!!

He takes on three and lays it off to Gosling on the edge...

Goso whacks one but it's low and wide from a good area - decent opening!!

57: Save!

Eriksen lines on up from distance...

Again it swerves towards the bottom corner but Begovic parries it away!

The parry reaches Aurier and he slams it over - decent chance!

55: Spurs on top...

But the crowd are getting right behind the lads now!

50: Danger!!

Eriksen swings in a ball and it reaches Alli at the back post...

Just as he's about to pull the trigger and looks set to score, Francis nicks it and hashes it away!

Great defending!

48: Franno goes close!!

Unlike him!

25-yards out and the fans urge him to shoot - the Skipper obliges!

It's a great strike which Lloris is at full stretch to palm out!

45: Back underway...

Spurs get us underway here.

We'll attack the Vitality Steve Fletcher Main Stand in this second half...

Come on lads!!

HALF TIME

Finely poised!

Our excellent start was rewarded with a goal, before Dele Alli scored as Spurs took control.

Take that at the break! Half time, we're at 1-1. See you in 15!

45: Save by Begovic!

Eriksen smashes one from 25-yards, it swerves low and Begovic parries, but collects it eventually.

Spurs have ended the half on top.

39: Unlucky!

We win the second ball high up the pitch and Wilson slips it to Adam Smith, but the defender diverts just wide from outside the box.

Good play, we're more than in the game here!

35: Alli scores...

That is some cross by Serge Aurier.

Unfortunately for us, he swings in a ball from the right right into Alli's path and the midfielder gets a touch just to measure it over Begovic.

1-1 here.

GOAL for Spurs.

Dele Alli equalises.

34: Kane can't continue...

He's gone straight down the tunnel. Bad site for FPL managers and England fans alike.

He's being replaced by Erik Lamela - it looks like Son will play as the central striker.

33: Big chance...

Dele Alli latches onto a cross and in the area unmarked, shanks it wide...

That probably should be 1-1! A let off for us!

We're battling away here...

28: Goal ruled out!

Great decision.

Christian Eriksen loops a ball over the top for Harry Kane and he takes it with ease, but the linesman flag was immediately up.

Kane is down injured still in the penalty area, Asmir Begovic clattered him as he made a genuine attempt for the ball.

25: A bit of a lul...

We started with such pace and vigour, naturally that has been reduced and Spurs are having more of the ball.

We're defending well though at the moment though...

17: First yellow...

Great play by Wilson!

He bullies Davinson Sanchez and beats him, Danny Rose has to cynically foul him out wide and take a yellow card before Wilson got in the box!

The resulting free-kick comes to nothing, but excellent play from Wilson!

10: A decent chance...

Stanislas whips in a low corner towards Mousset at the front post - he gets a touch on it and it goes just over!

That's close...

We've been electric so far though - pressing high up the pitch not giving Spurs an inch.

07: What a start!!!

Brilliant play!!!

We've been absolutely fantastic so far!!

A great piece of play from Adam Smith on the right beats Danny Rose, he swings in a cross and Stanislas takes a touch at the back stick and drills it low into the bottom corner! Great goal - 1-0!!!!

GOALLLLLLLLLLLL!!

JUNIOR STANISLASSSSSSS!!!

04: HOW IS THAT NOT A GOAL!!

We break so well on Spurs!

Lys Mousset runs clean through and squares it for Junior Stanislas who chips Hugo Lloris but it's off the underside of the bar!!!!

How it didn't go in I'll never know!!!! MASSIVE chance!

01: Let's go!

Dan Gosling gets us underway!

The players wait in the tunnel...

It's raining here as Mike Botto our stadium announcer gees up the crowd.

A good atmosphere in the ground!!

Did you know...

We've scored in 10 consecutive Premier League games - a club first!

Joshua King's penalty ensured the record and it's one we'll be looking to continue today!

Head to head...

The stats between the two teams are well in Spurs' favour... but records are made to be broken!

Today's visitors are unbeaten in the last five previous Premier League games.

Our last goal against Spurs was Matt Ritchie's strike in 2015/16, and we drew 0-0 in the fixture last season. The only other occasion time we've avoided defeat against Spurs was a 3-1 victory at Dean Court in the FA Cup in February 1957.

Kingy on the bench...

We can confirm why Joshua King is on the bench today, we've just been told he's been suffering with a neck problem for a large part of the week.

One to watch...

Having scored five goals in his last three games, Son Heung-Min is in great form for Spurs.

He's been receiving high praise across the world for his displays, with Peter Crouch writing this about him in his Daily Mail column: "Son Heung-min of Tottenham is one of the top players in the League. He would improve any of the best teams."

One of many to keep quiet today!

Team in text...

The team is out and it's one change from last week's draw with Leicester, as Lys Mousset comes in to start...

Begovic; Francis (C), S Cook, Ake, Daniels; A Smith, L Cook, Gosling, Stanislas; Mousset; Wilson.

Team news...

Is 20 minutes away, we'll share it here first on the blog.

The manager said there were doubts over Jordon Ibe, Marc Pugh and Ryan Fraser ahead of the game.

We'll find out at 3, with Spurs' side also announced here too.

The manager...

What does the boss have to say ahead of the game?

"Spurs have been playing really well recently. The Champions League exit will hurt them, just because I think they will be believe they should have gone through, they were the better team for the majority of that game.

"But I am sure they will be focused on this weekend's match, which is important for them and very important for us."

82+...

We have to be wary of that time today with Harry Kane around!

Kane has bagged in the 82nd minute or later in four of Spurs' last five away games, and has scored in six away fixtures in a row.

Scary stats...

But what about our form...

Well, it's up there at the top of the form table with Spurs.

We've just one of their past 10 league fixtures (winning four and drawing five)  only today's opponents have suffered less defeats in that timespan.

How do Spurs look heading into this one?

Well, aside from their European exit against Juventus on Wednesday, they're flying.

Spurs are unbeaten in 11 Premier League games - the longest current run in the top flight.

Also, it's key for us not to let Spurs take the lead today, as they're unbeaten in the 18 league matches in which they have taken the lead - they've won a huge 17 of them.

Welcome...

It's a pleasant day on the south coast...

The calm before the Premier League storm! Today we welcome a very in form Spurs side to Vitality Stadium, in another big league game in our season.

We'll have all the build up on this live blog, as well as live audio commentary of the game which you can access globally for free.
