WE ARE STAYING UP!!!

FULL TIME!

A WIN SECURES PREMIER LEAGUE SURVIVAL!

A well earned victory against Swansea means we have secured Premier League football for a fourth successive campaign.

A great achievement for the club!

90: A Premier League return...

Tyrone Mings makes his long-awaited league return.

He comes on for Callum Wilson - standing ovations all round.

90: THREE minutes added time...

Swansea are going direct here penning us into our own half.

They've got plenty of men forward.

We make a second sub of Lys Mousset who comes on for King.

A big three minutes!

85: What a save!

HOW DOES THAT NOT GO IN!

Fraser drives from the right wing at least 60-yards and gets u up the pitch - what a game he's had!

He lays off King in the box who squares for Wilson and it looks a certain goal but Fabianski out of nowhere gets across to touch it wide!

That is a brilliant save...

79: Gosling involved...

He forces a save from Fabianski after trying to work a one-two with Wilson.

The Swansea fans are quiet as their team desperately try to carve something out of this game.

77: Two changes...

First, an attacking change for the Swans. Luciano Narsingh comes on for Ki Sung-Yueng.

Our first sub of the day comes as Dan Gosling comes on for Marc Pugh - Pughie as ever gets a huge ovation.

King will play wide left with Gosling in the ten and Fraser wide right, it's 4-4-1-1 from the looks of it for us now.

74: The tempo has shifted...

After Swansea's good spell, the momentum seems to have shifted the other way.

With a number of corners and Nathan Ake going close, we've taken the sting out of the game.

72: Another attacking change...

Mike van der Hoorn makes way for Andy King.

It looks like a flat back four for the Swans now with King in midfield with Carroll.

66: Swansea having a spell...

Abraham has made an impact.

Simon Francis nods a cross clear that is a real threat, and Tom Carroll hits a sweet strike from 25-yards but it blazes over.

They're having the better of it at the moment.

59: First sub of the game...

Nathan Dyer, who has looked pretty anonymous in the game, has made way for Tammy Abraham.

He looks a lot bigger in person!

It looks like the two Ayews will play wider and Abraham through the middle.

58: Great chance!!!

Great play by King!

He skins two Swans defenders with a brilliant trick and dinks a cross to the waiting Steve Cook in the middle.

Cook just gets underneath it though and nods over, he looks so frustrated and it is a good chance!

51: Joshua King is booked...

That is bizarre.

He's been booked for taking a free-kick quickly! Not sure about that... But King is now on a caution.

49: Better from us!

King gets down the left flank and swipes a first time ball towards Wilson.

It's really threatening and Fabianski has to come and claim it on the floor, with Wilson an inch away from tapping in!

46: Really good save...

Begovic at full stretch seconds after the restart.

Jordan Ayew volleys from the edge first time, it's heading into the bottom corner but Begovic palms it out just as it looks like it's creeping in.

Top stop that...

45: A big half awaits...

We're back underway.

Jordan Ayew kicks us off and we're now attacking the Vitality Steve Fletcher Stand.

Come on lads!

HALF TIME

An entertaining half!

We're a goal up thanks to Ryan Fraser's lovely strike from a well worked set play.

We have had a few scares but it's been a largely positive half.

More of the same boys!

45: Good chance!

Lukasz Fabianski scuffs a clearance and Wilson closes it down. He's not got a lot to aim at, he's wide right in the area and is one-on-one, but with defenders haring down he has to shoot!

He tries to nutmeg Fabianski but he reads it and saves! Unlucky!

39: An absolute sitter...

Swansea should be level.

Jordan Ayew gets in behind our backline following some intricate play, but eight-yards out he scuffs it wide of the near post with the whole goal to aim for.

We are fortunate there!

GOALLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!

Surman fools everyone and rolls it to Fraser on the edge who gets a lovely clean sidefooted strike into the corner!!!

Lovely effort and a well deserved goal for our efforts!!

We're 1-0 up here!

34: Free-kick RIGHT on the edge...

It is so close to being inside!

Mawson clatters Wilson but it's JUST outside the box! Only just though that's as close as you'll get.

Olsson has been booked as well for dissent. A real threatening position this just off centre...

26: Good chance for Swansea...

Andrew Ayew flings a hopeful ball into the back post, but Martin Olsson is steaming in at the back post.

He outjumps Steve Cook and gets there first but his header is over.

That's a dangerous area, an attack out of nothing really - threatening.

20 minutes gone...

A really entertaining game so far!

19: Great counter!

King drives from deep and beats van der Hoorn.

He gets us at least 60 yards up the pitch and Andrew Surman steams through the middle, collecting King's pass.

He does so well to nick a little ball to Wilson at the back post, it's a really threatening position but Fernandez steams into a tackle to get a nick.

Sharp counter, unlucky!

16: WHAT A CHANCE!!

Great play!

Lewis Cook wins it high up the pitch and sets Ryan Fraser away on the right.

He curls an inch-perfect cross from the right and Wilson is there waiting at the back post!!

It looks like a certain goal but it comes off his shin and flies over! Superb play all round, unlucky for Wilson!!

Big chance that...

12: How it's not 1-0 Swansea I don't know...

A high free-kick comes into the box and Mike van der Hoorn smashes it six-yards out and Asmir Begovic somehow gets a foot to it. It looked a certain goal, but the rebound then falls to Nathan Dyer in the six-yard box but Begovic was there to mop up.

Two really, really threatening moments for the Swans after our lightning start.

Speedy start...

06: Ball in the net!

Offside!

A lovely pass by King releases Marc Pugh in the area, the linesman's flag immediately goes up but it's still a good finish by Pugh!

Miles off, but still we keep that attacking endeavour rolling...

04: Great run by King!

A real intent so far!

Joshua King gets down the right, outstrengthens Alfie Mawson before skinning him twice. He gets in the area and puts in a threatening ball but Fernandez clears.

Well on top early doors - an early goal would be more than justified for out start!

01: Great start!

Penalty appeal waved away!!

Wilson gets the wrong side of Federico Fernandez and looks set to pull the trigger but a challenge from the defender stops him!

Wilson wants a penalty as do the crowd, but not given. It's only a minute in, but we're already attacking with intent!

01: We are underway...

It's got a big game feel this!

Callum Wilson gets us underway and we'll attack the Ted MacDougall Colmar Construction Stand to get things going.

Come on lads!

The teams are out...

Great atmosphere in here!

Some quick fire stats to point out...

- Swansea's only win in 16 away league games came against Crystal Palace in August

- Just nine of Swansea's 27 league goals have been scored in the first half

- Their most recent win at the Vitality Stadium was in 2007,  a 4-1 League One win

15 minutes 'til kick-off...

The atmosphere is building in the stadium!

A big game ahead, Stoke City's defeat maybe puts a little less pressure on Swansea, but it's still a big game for both sides here today...

Super computer prediction...

SAM (Sports Analytics Machine) is a super-computer created by @ProfIanMcHale at the University of Liverpool that is used to predict the outcome of football matches - as used by the BBC.

They say the 'most probable' result is a 1-1 draw, with the probability of a home win being 44% and the probability of away win 29%.

We like those odds!

Head to head...

Well since we've been in the Premier League, it's been one way traffic!

It feels ages since we've had a good head to head record on here!

We unbeaten in all five previous Premier League meetings (W3, D2) with the Swans, keeping clean sheets in each of the last three encounters.

In the Premier League, the club have only faced Leicester City more often without defeat in the Premier League - the unbeaten run against Leicester is six.

One to watch...

Jordan Ayew has impressed since moving to a central striker role.

The Ghanaian has scored five goals since then and has had the most shots for the Swans since Carlos Carvalhal's appointment in December.

He's also created 11 clear chances in that time.

Team news....

Marc Pugh starts for us today in our crunch game.

He replaces Lys Mousset who drops to the bench.

Cherries XI: Begovic; Fraser, Francis, S Cook, Ake, Daniels; Surman, L Cook; Pugh, Wilson, King.

The lads are in the building!!

King on the south coast...

Having netted three goals in his last five Premier League games, Joshua King is the most in-form Cherries players in terms of attacking returns.

His record against Swansea isn't too bad either, having scored three times against them in the Premier League so far.

One for your coupons today? (Gamble responsibly!!)

Defend or attack??

There could be a dilemma into how Swansea approach this afternoon's game.

They head into the final three games of the season one point above the relegation zone, with this game as well as back-to-back home games against Southampton and Stoke City to come.

A good result would ensure that safety remains in their own control, but a draw or defeat could see them leapfrogged by Southampton - Carvahal has a dilemma, does he go for it and keep survival in their own grasp, or play safe and rely on the games against Stoke and Saints?

Team news...

It's an hour away.

We'll be missing injured trio Harry Arter, Adam Smith and Junior Stanislas.

Smith might not be back this season, while Arter still has the achilles problem that kept him out of last week's game with Southampton.

As for the Swans, Federico Fernandez and Luciano Narsingh are both expected to return after recovering from  knee and ankle injuries.

Tammy Abraham is also likely to play, he didn't play against Chelsea last week as they are his parent club.

Goals?

There's two unenviable stats about both sides.

The first is with us, we've conceded 60 goals at least in each of our three Premier League campaigns.

But this season, Swansea are the joint lowest scorers in the division alongside Huddersfield.

Does that mean there won't be goals today - or as football always does, scupper the stats?

Swans' recent form...

Carlos Carvahal labelled their position a 'miracle' as in December, they were five points adrift of safety.

Now they have their fate in their own hands this afternoon - but their recent form has been poor - they've lost four and drawn two of their last six picking up points against Everton and West Bromwich Albion.

In fairness, those four defeats came against Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea and Spurs!

Welcome...

It's a sizzling day on the south coast!

Welcome to Vitality Stadium where it's roasting hot and hopefully the football is too as we welcome Swansea City.

It's a huge game for both sides, a win for us (possibly a point,) and we stay up, whereas the Swans need to distance themselves from the bottom three.
