FULL TIME

A hard earned win for the lads!

After conceding early to a Shaqiri strike, a second half pair of strikes from King and Mousset secure a huge win in the Premier League - helping us secure a longest unbeaten top flight streak!!

90: Save!!

Cook wins a header and it loops to Wilson who is clean through but he takes it first time and it's a lovely strike, but Butland is equal to it and parries it away!!

90: Final sub...

Ibe, who made the potential winner with a wonderful ball in, is replaced by Marc Pugh.

We have it in the corner at the moment...

90: FOUR minutes added...

Injury time coming...

The manager and Jason Tindall have Marc Pugh ready on the touchline to come on. We look tired but are defending stoutly!

88: Two minutes to go...

We're looking fairly comfortable, but we all know what can happen...

We await the board going up to see how long we have to defend for...

Let's keep going lads!!

82: Double sub for Stoke...

They're going for it...

Eric Maxim Chupo-Moting and Crouch are both replaced by Mame-Biram Diouf and Saido Berahino.

78: HIS FIRST IN THE PREMIER LEAGUE!!

The best mates combine!

Ibe whips in a simply delightful free-kick which Mousset is there to nod in from close range!

Get in - WE'RE AHEAD!

78: GOALLLLLLLLL!!!

LYS MOUSSETTTTT!!!!

We're on top finish...

77: Close from Gosling!!

Another good attack!

The ball bounced to Gosling just inside the area and he swivels well to shoot, it's lovely technique on the half volley but it's just over!!

76: Unlucky!

Really good from Mousset!

He travels with the ball at least 50-yards on the break, he gives it to Ibe and his cross is controlled by Wilson but he just can't find the shot!!

70: A stroke of luck perhaps, but a goal!!

Mousset and Gosling play a one-two in the area, fortunately for us Allen and Zouma collide with each other and King is there to collect the ball and finish with ease in the area!!

GET IN - WE'RE LEVEL!!

GOALLLLLLLLLL!!!!

JOSHUA KINGGGGG!!!!!

68: Unlucky!

Mousset is causing problems!

A lovely bit of skill on the edge gives Gosling half a yard in the box, he lays off Wilson who smashes a low one which flies just wide of the left post!

Unlucky, that's close!

65: Close from Crouch...

He nods a corner from the penalty spot just over the bar...

Frustrating afternoon so far...

60: A second sub...

Stanislas makes way for us and Lys Mousset comes on.

Mousset will play behind Wilson, with Ibe on the right, King on the left.

58: King booked...

Zouma challenges King in the area, the striker goes down but the referee indicates immediately for a dive and a yellow.

57: Save!

Crouch wins it at the back post and is able to then bring it down and smash a volley which Begovic can't hold and it cannons off the 'keeper.

Dan Gosling has now gone into the book for a late challenge on Shaqiri.

We're battling away...

50: Constant pressure!

An excellent move in and around the area!

The crowd are right behind us... A Lovely passing, patient move eventually releases Ibe in the area and his cross across the face is really well cleared.

An excellent start to the second half.

46: CLOSE!

A razor sharp start!

King tries his luck from 25-yards, it swerves and Butland has to make an unusual save to keep it out and the rebound looks set to fall to Wilson but Butland somehow gets a hand to it and it bounces off the striker in the six-yard box!

A great opening with literally the first kicks of the second half...

45: Back underway...

Let's do it lads - attacking the Vitality Steve Fletcher Main Stand!

HALF TIME

Well, we didn't need that as we were ramping up the pressure.

But Xherdan Shaqiri's header is the difference, with Jordon Ibe missing our best chance of the half.

Behind, but if the end of the second-half is anything to go by, it will be tight!

45: CLOSE AGAIN!

King releases Wilson in the area and the form he's in he looks set to score!

But he just can't get the ball out from under his feet and Stoke manage to scramble it away!!!

A big chance just before half time!

45: Shaqiri booked...

A wonderful piece of skill from Cook draws a foul from Joe Allen and Shaqiri smashes the ball away for a cheap yellow.

44: Save!

Stanislas curls a free-kick, from an angle on the edge of the box, it's whipped with ferocity towards the near and Butland has to get down to parry it away!!

Two minutes added time to round off the half...

42: We could do without half time here...

We're well on top but nothing is really sticking in the final third.

Stoke are struggling to keep the ball though at the moment. Three minutes to the interval...

37: A booking...

On his Premier League debut, Ndiaye is booked for a really cynical foul as we look to break, he hacks down Ibe, much to the home fans' anger as we break four on four.

First yellow of the game.

35: HOW HAS THAT NOT GONE IN!!!!!!

King gets released down the left and puts in a perfect pass to Ibe at the back post to tap it in!!

Somehow, and no-one in the ground seems to know, Eric Pieters throws himself at it, it hits his chest and its bounces so so narrowly past the post.

Not sure how it didn't go in!!

29: Great chance for us!!

Wilson intercepts a Shaqiri pass and is one on one with the last man, with Ibe and King both in support.

Wilson can pass to either his left or his right to get someone in on goal with a clear run, but he just can't get it out of his feet to find either man!!

That's a big big chance!

Ibe trying to find a way through...

20 minutes gone...

It's tight, we're having more of the ball but Stoke are having the better of it.

17: Opening...

Lewis Cook knocks a sublime ball over the top for Wilson.

While holding off Kurt Zouma, Wilson tries a sidefooted effort first time from the edge.

It's slightly miss-hit it and it's easy for Jack Butland. Well worked!

12: A forced substitution...

Steve Cook has had to hobble off but in an attacking move, Cookie is being replaced by Joshua King.

So that means we'll play with a flat back four and two strikers in King and Wilson.

07: Better from us!

Wilson slips in Junior Stanislas and he's 1v1 with the last man, Kurt Zouma.

He couldn't quite get it under control though and it was cleared, before the rebound was well worked back to Jordon Ibe out wide who smashed an effort into the side netting.

Much better from us!

06: GOAL for Stoke.

The smallest man on the pitch, Shaqiri, is allowed a free header in the area. He met Badou Ndiaye's cross eight-yards out and perfectly headed past Begovic.

We're a goal down here and it's not been a good start,

05: Off the line!

Not sure how that's not gone in!

A deflected shot falls to Xherdan Shaqiri in acres of space in the area and he hits an effort which Asmir Begovic, but somehow Steve Cook is there to scramble it away!!

04: First real pressure...

Stoke attack.

They work it well and Joe Allen strides into the area. He lines on up and hits a powerful strike but Nathan Ake is there to make a crucial block early on.

The Potters on top as it stands.

01: We're underway...

Callum Wilson kicks off and we'll attack the Colmar Construction Ted MacDougall Stand to begin this half, as we do in pretty much all of our home games.

Go on lads!!

A minute's applause...

For John Harriss who sadly died last month.

John spent his last moments watching the Cherries beat Arsenal.

Out former groundsman and referee liason officer was remembered in the right way today, rest in peace John.

The teams are out...

Come on boys!

We're in red and black while the Potters are in white today...

By the way...

Jordon Ibe has just scored an absolute belter in the warm up!

First time finish from 25-yards... Get him on your coupons guys!!

The head to head record...

Well, we beat Stoke earlier this season 2-1 away from home, with the pair of goals coming just 133 seconds apart!

But we've not beaten the Potters at home in the Premier League yet, drawing one and losing the other.

However, the visitors today have only one one of their last seven trips to Vitality Stadium.

Asmir has his say in the pre-match interview...

A chance for us to make history...

Today gives us the opportunity to go unbeaten in seven Premier League games for the first time, as we've won three and drawn three of our last six.

This could also present us with an unbeaten league run at the start of a calendar to five matches, which would be the first time since 2001 when we were in League One.

Some incentives there lads!

One to watch...

Peter Crouch starts today, and could make Stoke City history.

Crouch is just one goal off becoming the Potters' all-time leading scorer in the Premier League, he has 43 goals and that's level with Jon Walters.

The towering frontman will be a difficult man to mark this afternoon.

Team news...

We are unchanged - from the starting XI to the bench.

Hardly surprising after the Chelsea game...

TEAM IN FULL: Begovic; Fraser, Francis, S Cook, Ake, Daniels; L Cook, Gosling; Ibe, Stanislas; Wilson.

The boss has his say before the game...

The boss was confident in his pre-match press conference yesterday...

"We've been in really good form. Confidence has returned to the group. The manner of the performances against Arsenal and Chelsea was very strong.

"Stoke have changed their system and mentality slightly and the signs look good for them after their opening two games under [Paul] Lambert."

What can we expect from the visitors today?

Well under Paul Lambert, Stoke's form has improved.

They've taken four points from two matches under the new manager and are also yet to concede a goal - climbing out of the bottom three.

The win over Huddersfield in his first game in charge lifted everyone, before a midweek 0-0 draw with Watford kept the little run going. They'll be organised for sure!

The man in form...

Callum Wilson has been one of the standout players in the entire country in recent weeks.

The striker is in red-hot form, being involved in six goals in his last six Premier League games, with four goals and two assists.

He looks set to be given the opportunity to add to that tally, with full team news announced here at 2pm!
