FULL TIME

Well, a relentless Liverpool attacking display in the first half sees us beaten.

Coutinho, Firmino, Salah and Lovren do the damage as we're defeated at home.

Thanks for following guys, despite the scoreline we appreciate it! See you in midweek when we're back for the Chelsea game!

90: Save!

Solanke shoots from 20-yards but it's a really good save by Begovic.

He palms it away...

90: Three minutes of added time...

There's not been a whole host of action late on as Liverpool dominate.

Three minutes to round it off as the ground empties.

87: Ings goes close...

Straight away, his first touch is in the area.

He takes the ball out of his feet, strikes a left-footed drive into the side netting.

A good chance.

86: Wide from Coutinho...

He fizzed a low effort wide from 25-yards.

Elsewhere, Coutinho makes way for Ings and Ings gets a nice reception from the home crowd.

80: Into the final ten...

It's all Liverpool, not necessarily creating anything, but dominating the ball.

Oxlade-Chamberlain has fizzed one wide but the visitors are knocking the ball around at will.

76: Second Liverpool sub...

Firmino, scorer of the fourth goal, makes way.

Dominic Solanke comes on for him.

70: Salah comes off...

He gets clapped off by the home fans.

The Egyptian makes way for Adam Lallana, who returns from injury.

More attacking riches for the Reds.

65: Firmino heads in...

On the replay, he's offside.

But it doesn't matter, Coutinho whips in an arrow of a ball, Firmino is there in the middle to nod past Begovic.

It's a good header from the Brazilian, albeit in an offside position.

The Stadium is hushed.

GOAL for Liverpool. 0-4.

Firmino heads in.

Unlucky from Jermain...

60: Defoe goes close!

Unlucky!

Defoe fashions half-a-yard for himself 20-yards out, shifting it onto his right foot.

It's a trademark Defoe strike, clean with his right, but Mignolet gets down low to palm it away.

59: Off the post!

Liverpool go close again.

Oxlade-Chamberlain nicks it off Ibe, steams towards the area and smahses a left footer off the outside of the post.

Good play from Oxlade-Chamberlain.

56: Final sub for us...

It's another forced change.

Steve Cook comes on for Charlie Daniels, who picked up a slightly knock moments before and was walking gingerly.

Ake now shifts to left back, Cookie at the heart of the defence with Francis.

56: Chance!

Lovely interplay!

Defoe backheels to Fraser who gets a yard of room in the box and strikes an effort into the side netting! Better from us.

52: Could be 4-0...

Henderson whips in a cross which Begovic and Francis can't get to, but Firmino doesn't react quick enough in the box to get a tap in!

45: We're back underway...

Pughie is off at the break for Weeman - who completely changed this game last season.

We're attacking the Vitality Steve Fletcher Stand this half... Hopefully a miraculous turnaround!

HALF TIME

Well, it's 0-3 and that's not flattering.

We've been second best in the first half, but we all remember last year's game...

Here's hoping for a big second half!!

44: Salah's 11th in 11...

Salah burned Daniels on the right, cut inside onto his left and found a finish through a few bodies.

Liverpool are cutting us open on the break.

GOAL for Liverpool.

Mo Salah. 0-3.

43: Save!

Great football from Liverpool.

Salah and Coutinho play a one-two and Salah is in on goal, he takes it first time but Begovic is alert to make a really smart stop.

Fortunate not to be 0-3.

42: Better!

Pughie and Daniels combine and the latter slaps one in the box, it's just behind Junior who is unmarked in the middle! Good football!

39: OFF THE POST!!

What a ball by Stanislas!

It releases Defoe in on goal and the crowd expect him to score, he hits it sweetly but it's off the inside of the post! You DO NOT get closer than that....

30: Sub for us...

Kingy went down and instantly it looked like trouble.

He walks off the pitch and is replaced by Junior Stanislas. Go on, Jun!

29: A carbon copy of last year...

This game has a similar feel to the 4-3 game from last season.

Liverpool go 2-0 up with little challenge from us - hopefully more of the same of last year second half!

27: Lovren dives in to make it two...

Soft goal.

A corner comes in and Firmino puts it back across the face for Lovren to dive at the ball and head in.

Liverpool ahead, and unfortunately, well worth their lead.

GOAL. 0-2.

Liverpool have been incisive.

Lovren scores. 0-2.

Can we find a way back in the game?

22: Salah goes close...

Trademark Salah.

On that right-hand side he cuts into an area similar to the goal he scored against Everton last week.

This time though, he curls it just over the bar. That's not far away. We're on the back foot.

20: A magicial piece of skill...

Unfortunately for us, that's Coutinho at his very best.

The Brazilian jinks in from the left, cuts inside and skins three of our men, before finding a low finish past Begovic.

GOAL for Liverpool.

Coutinho scores. Mesmerising to be fair.

0-1.

19: Save!

We work it well, Defoe lays off Ibe 22-yards out, he strikes it well but it doesn't swerve and is straight down Mignolet's throat for a save.

Better build up play, we've calmed things down since Coutinho went close too.

The closest we've come to a goal...

14: Ouch!

Smith and Ibe combine down the right and they feed Kingy.

The frontman does so well and skins Lovren by chopping inside, but he's wiped out!!

No card for Lovren though...

11: Off the post...

Coutinho goes so close.

A free-kick was conceded by Ake for a foul right on the edge on Mo Salah.

The Brazilian stepped up and in all fairness, it was a magnificent strike, rattling the inside of the post.

No other Premier League players has scored more free-kick goals than Coutinho since he joined the Premier League, he went mightly close.

Nearly a breakthrough...

07: A lively start...

No chances but both teams are trying to get the ball down and play.

JD has had a race with Lovren which could've seen him go one-on-one, it got the crowd going but Lovren cleared.

Apart from that, not much else has happened, both sides keeping it nicely.

01: We're off!

Kingy gets us underway.

As ever, we'll attack the Colmar Construction Ted MacDougall Stand in the first half.

A big game feel - great noise in the ground!

The players emerge...

A great atmosphere in the ground!!

Charlie has his say...

One to watch...

For club and country, Mo Salah has made 27 appearances and scored 20 goals.

An unbelievable record for a midfielder, he's also scored ten in his last ten.

The Egyptian starts today in his favoured right wing spot.

The team...

Lewis Cook returns to the starting line up this afternoon.

TEAM: Begovic; A Smith, Francis, Ake, Daniels; Ibe, L Cook, Surman, Pugh; King, Defoe.

What can we expect from Liverpool?

Well, they're in great form.

They're unbeaten in their last eight games in the Premier League, winning five of those.

Another staggering stat on Klopp's side - they have only lost one of their last 22 league games against teams that aren't 'the big six'.

Bad omens!

The lads have arrived!

Four in four?

Striker Jermain Defoe has bagged three goals in his last three league matches against Liverpool...

Four in four today!?

Did you know...

The Cherries' 4-3 win against Liverpool last year is our only win in 11 league and cup games against the Reds (we've drawn three and lost the other seven.)

Last season's two games against Liverpool saw a total of 11 goals shared between the sides - only the games between Crystal Palace and Swansea (12 goals) saw more goals in 2016/17.

The team news will be announced here an hour before kick-off.

It's an unusual one, a 4.30pm kick-off with Liverpool on a Sunday!

It's quiet here at Vitality Stadium before what we're sure will be a great atmosphere later this afternoon.
