Cherries Community Fund and draw results

Marc Pugh, Jeff Mostyn and Steve Cuss present a cheque on behalf of the Cherries Community Fund.

AFC Bournemouth's popular half-time Cherries Community Draw gives supporters the chance to win cash prizes while helping the local community through the Cherries Community Fund.

At each home game, supporters can purchase tickets, priced at £1, to go into the draw. The more tickets you buy, the more chance you have of winning, with all proceeds going directly into the Cherries Community Fund.

The Fund, set up by the club, has provided financial assistance to projects that help to develop young people and vulnerable groups, or those that promote sport and a healthy lifestyle in the area of Dorset.

The Fund will be financed from the proceeds of the popular Cherries Community Draw and any other donations the club receives.

Groups can put in applications for up to £1,000 worth of funding, which will then be judged by a three-man panel, comprising of AFC Bournemouth chairman Jeff Mostyn, head of AFC Bournemouth’s Community Sports Trust Steve Cuss and Player Marc Pugh.

The panel meet quarterly throughout the year and panels are scheduled in March, June, September and December.

Since 2016, the Cherries Community Fund donated over £97,000 to the local community.
