MENTalk
In 2019, the Community Sports Trust, in partnership with Wessex Cancer Trust launched monthly MENTalk meetings at Vitality Stadium. The meetings, which are only for men, involved a qualified counsellor who was on hand to discuss different matters with the group.
Due to the implications of the pandemic, the monthly meetings at Vitality Stadium have been swapped for zoom sessions three times a week. The group meet on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings for 45 minutes to catch up with each other, often talking about issues relating to Cancer or instead speaking about matters of a different subject.
