Casual bar and waiting staff

AFC Bournemouth are looking to recruit bar, waiting and hospitality staff.

We are looking for friendly, enthusiastic, reliable and self-motivated individuals with a hard-working positive approach, a polite manner and excellent attention to detail to work matchdays.

Previous experience within a quality fast-paced catering environment is preferable as staff members are required to display initiative and calmness under pressure. A strong work ethic and a can-do attitude are also prerequisites.

Due to a potentially sporadic fixture-list, and the nature of hospitality, you will need to be flexible regarding shift times and dates. With regards to your availability, matchdays fall mainly on weekends and occasionally on weekday evenings, it is therefore essential that you are flexible regarding shift timings.

As a rough guide, weekend matchday shifts will be 10am through to 8pm and midweek matchday shifts will be 4pm-12am.

Apply via email including a Covering Letter & a copy of an up to date C.V. to: [email protected]

Concourse catering assistant/bar staff

Duration: Permanent
Minimum age: 18

The shifts are approximately four to eight hours, home matchdays only.

Staff will be expected to work at a fast pace as we only have a small time frame to serve the supporters.

Duties include handling cash, using tills, recording information, replenishing stock and ensuring your work area is clean and tidy. You will also be expected to handle food, which can include an element of cooking.

You will be expected to work as part of a team as there are 19 concourse bars and kiosk around the stadium. Customer care is very important to us, so you will be expected to be polite and helpful to all individual customers.

The stadium is very busy on a matchday but there is a good atmosphere within the team and you get to know the supporters.

Experience is a bonus but not essential as full training given on-site.

You can apply for this job by sending a CV to [email protected] with the subject 'AFCB staff: Concourse 2019'.
