Dave Gardner

Position:
First Team

Dave Gardner is a member of the medical team here at AFC Bournemouth.

Having gained a degree in Sports Science at the University of Portsmouth, he then went on to study a Masters in Sports Therapy at London Metropolitan University.

During his studies, Dave gained experience at Reading, doing an internship as a Sports Therapist throughout the 2020/11 Championship season.  

He joined the Cherries in 2011 ahead of the League One season and has been a part of the first team staff ever since, contributing to one promotion to the Championship two to the Premier League in that time.

During his time with the club, Dave has also gained a Masters degree in Strength and Conditioning at St Mary’s University in Twickenham.
