Striker Euan Pollock has been a prolific goalscorer at every age group since joining the AFC Bournemouth academy as a nine-year-old.

Born and raised in Dorchester, he was spotted by Cherries scouts while playing for Bridport Youth and won a scholarship after scoring freely as he progressed through the ranks.

In March 2021 and while still a second-year scholar, Pollock was rewarded for his exploits with his first professional contract and signed the deal which kicked in at the start of 2021/22.

Having been leading goalscorer for his age groups in four successive seasons, Pollock was elevated to the club’s development squad at the end of his scholarship.

He netted four goals and scored in two penalty shootouts during a work experience loan spell with Truro City in the Southern League in the first half of the 2021/22 season when he made 18 appearances in all competitions.

In January 2022, Pollock joined Hungerford Town on loan, making two appearances in National South before the move was cut short due to injury.

Pollock netted three goals in three games in the Cherries’ Premier League Cup campaign in 2021/22, bagging a double in a 4-0 win over West Brom and the only goal away to Southampton.
