Goalkeeper Artur Boruc initially joined on loan from Southampton in September 2014.

The Polish stopper made his debut in a 1-1 draw at Watford and was only set to stay with the Cherries until January.

Eddie Howe then extended the 35-year-old’s loan deal until the end of the season before signing him on a permanent basis in the summer.

Boruc made his name in Britain with six successful seasons at Celtic, where we won three Scottish Premier League titles and played in the Champions League.

He has earned more than 50 caps for his country and played on a number of occasions for Poland in the 2014 World Cup qualifying campaign.

In 2008 Boruc was one of five goalkeepers shortlisted for FIFPro World Player XI awards along with Gianluigi Buffon, Iker Casillas, Petr Cech and Edwin van der Sar.
